start watching ticket prices three months out from the date you're planning to fly. Airlines only start to play the price game on relevant tickets within three months of the flight date
I've gotten some of the best deals during this time.

If they ask for it in the form, I don't know why you would question it. If you have to send copies again for separate applications (n-600 or passport), then so be it.

If someone offers to give you their purple heart, the only acceptable response is "Thank you, but you need to keep it. You earned it, not me." There is no way the words, "Thanks, I always wanted one", should leave your mouth.
    I so hate this man.

I spoke about this over the weekend. His supporters really think he is. Being on other social media and seeing the conversations, folks are literally saying he's going to be the best President ever. And they honestly believe this. I've been blocked so much for asking just basic questions about Trump. Any criticism of him gets you attacked. I was called a taco bowl one time, couldn't do nothing but laugh.
For the most parts, his people fall into 2 distinct categories. The majority are the ignorant, low information voters who honestly believe every word that comes out of his mouth. You can tell they have little to no education and when gently pressed they go all out attack mode and/or block you. Perfect example. Janelle made a post about Mrs. Trump not having a degree, one poster said, neither does Obama's daughters so there! She literally compared two high school girls to a grown woman and thought it made sense.
The other side of the coin are like the people here. Folks who have a semblance of intelligence but are constantly suspending belief to rally behind a man who should never be allowed on the WH lawn let alone the inside of it. But there's something else behind it, and if I say it here, I'll be called out for it, even though I can prove that I'm right.

so, when are you going to put it into perspective? was this it, the attempt at perspective?
the khans are pointing out that their son is not welcome in trump's 'future' america. this is what trump is running on, bigotry. keeping people out based on their religion. very relevant in this election. you can't twist that back on them with nonsense about how long ago their son died.
mrs. smith's speech, in my mind, is the equivalent of if the dnc had forced mrs. khan to speak about her dead son, even choking back tears and prompting her to wildly blame trump specifically for her son's death, at the convention. which isn't close to what happend. the parents are not blaming trump for their sons death. also, they are responding to an aspect of his campaign platform.
meanwhile the gop paraded mrs. smith's misplaced grief around like macy's and thanksgiving. disgusting display.
and trump can't attack hillary's foreign policy experience, because he has all of absolutely none.
don't be mad because trump is proving unable to properly censor himself. for the life of me i don't get how any of you think he's capable of being a world leader.

False equivalence. Trump has basically reiterated in no uncertain terms, that he has made exemplary sacrifices for his country, just as exemplary as serving in the military and losing one's life. His supposed belovement of vets is exceedingly hollow, and has used groups as a pawn of promotion - his 'donations' nowhere near totaling his outrageous claims. Trump received multiple special deferments, which ran contrary to numerous claims he has spun about how he avoided going into the draft. He has seemed rather proud of himself in that regard. He tramples on the memory of those who served in Vietnam and equates that to his rampant sexual behavior.
Bill Clinton, joined the ROTC, admittedly as a method to avoid the draft. But a manner in which he came to have misgivings about, and resigned up for the draft. Both Clintons, whether you like them or not, have dedicated themselves to public service. Trump has never been into public service, he dedicated himself to serving himself, as all con men do.

1 Trump did not serve his country, received multiple deferments. Thus son if immigrants volunteered to serve.
2 Trump wants to supress immigrants from Muslim countries. These folks would not have a chance to come here if left to Trump
3 Such views by Trump is a personal affront to these parents who love their adopted country and list their son in its defense.
4 The couple failed on their quest to get Ryan and McConnell to repudiate Trump and failed. The DNC gave them a platform to make their case. They made their case effectively
What other questions do you have. Like many people the thought of a Trump Presidency makes the nauseous.

akihon reacted to We Keep Receipts in Trump on black supporter: 'Look at my African-American over here'
Sigh. Let me break this down for you since you refuse to accept reality:
First, the black neighborhoods have more crime is a fact? How do I know this? Because I've lived it. I moved to a neighborhood that was almost entirely white. We were one of the first black families to be accepted there. It was clean and safe. The cops patrolled daily and you could walk every where without worrying about any crime. This changed the more black people moved into the area. I'm talking middle class hard working families. By the time I was in high school, the shift was noticeable. Police cars were no longer around as much, the streets were starting to have trash piled up on the corner, the neighborhood park was left to rot, and the property value of the houses were in decline. When I joined the military and came back after 7 months of training, we had bars on our windows, an alarm system installed, and I was warned about being out at night. The cops were non existent and going to the store was a risk because drug dealers had moved in and were selling right on the corners(one of them my mom used to teach in grade school, that's how close it was). And it's not just there, Jennings, Wellston, Hazelwood, St. Ann, St. Charles, even Ferguson. Look them up, all were white neighborhoods that ended up in the gutter when too many black folks moved in. So there's that.
As for gun laws targeting black people? Do your homework. The Mulford Act was enacted for the VERY REASON of keeping guns out of the hands of black people. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mulford_Act
    http://www.npr.org/2016/01/11/462698262/for-some-african-americans-gun-ownership-underscores-segregated-past
BATES: After that, the state's shocked lawmakers made carrying loaded firearms illegal. And in 1968, after several urban riots, the Federal Gun Control Act was passed, which attempted to ban the sale of cheap handguns.
ROBERT COTTROL: One of the problems, I think, that we have in places like Chicago, New York, Washington, D.C. is we make it very difficult - in some cases almost impossible - for the individual who is law-abiding, who is peaceful, to defend himself.
Or you can take Lib's word for it, since he posted a thread about it. Which was funny since I said the EXACT same thing before and was ridiculed for it. http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/585698-no-guns-for-negroes/
Gun laws in urban areas are extremely restricted, and yet those areas have the highest body count. Even when Illinois started opening up gun ownership, guess which group of people were denied, even though they had no records? I'll give you a hint, it wasn't the white applicants. http://articles.chicagotribune.com/2014-07-04/news/ct-concealed-carry-rejection-20140706_1_michael-thomas-application-illinois-state-police
This isn't some big secret. And the fact that every single weekend we lose about 20 people on average in Chicago, St. Louis, Memphis, Oakland, etc. just drives my point home. It's insulting that my personal experience with this makes you call me a liar because my reality doesn't line up with your rose colored idea that black people aren't systematically being wiped out. Why you think we live out here in Hawaii? Janelle won't let us move back because she's genuinely afraid for our lives. She grew up in Memphis and saw it worse than what I'm telling you now. But why come here and share that? So you can call her a liar as well? What would it take to convince you?

Im 35 years old... i love my mother but dont need her in my life everyday. My ex and i lived close to his parents and he worked with them too. I stopped the coming over without being announced one day flat because a comment was made about needing to vacuum. Dont like my house? Dont come here.

If i even called my mother once a day she would ask me what the heck was wrong with me. I love her to death but shes 65 with her own very busy business. We love to visit and wish it was more often, but i never understand the attached at the hip thing to your parents. The point of raising a child is to be a functioning independent member of society, not to depend on you forever.
Jmho. I havent lived with my mother for longer than 2 months since I was 18.

I think they were referring specifically to that family member, not you or people with your view. The OP does not seem to be devoid of mom's love and getting on the OP's case to spend $$$ for "mom's cooking" is not what the OP seems to want.
