Maybe I missed something but has the DNC, Clinton campaign, Podesta or anybody for that matter disputed the authenticity of the released emails? I get it, bad thing to hack another countries emails during an election but, if the truth of the emails is what turned the electorate (if in fact they were so turned), shouldn't that be the issue? It's not that you threw the baseball through the window breaking the glass, it's how you threw the ball.

These are the same people that as kids we stopped keeping score at AYSO games, everybody got a gold star, and we stopped giving letter grades. Coddling these snowflakes leads them to believe that there is only one way and they are entitled to get it. They also believe in free speech as long it agrees with what they believe. As far as I can recall, one side was always unhappy at the outcome of an election. Just don't recall people protesting for days and days. And on Saturday night I saw on the news that when they got to City Hall in L.A., they unfurled a huge Mexican flag. Those are the kind of antics that got Trump elected.

The guy should be able weather 10 days in an airport, they got bathrooms, food, places to stretch out. Heard on the radio one of the problems was that he has severe diabetes, at 41, what a catch. He looks scary. While I'm sure some on line dating works out, a lot of it has to be tongue in cheek and a way to pass the time.
If you were going to fly half round the world to see someone you've never met, you'd better have a better plan then "Hey babe, guess what, I'm at the airport."

Interview was very low key. Farang gentleman who wanted to do interview in Thai. Came to the window with some of our photos of trips around Thailand and with family. How we met, what do I do, marry before, children, who is in the photos, where is your fiance (waiting outside), what will you do in U.S. It was over in a matter of minutes and approved. Interview was Tuesday, EMS showed up Friday and we flew home Saturday.

Just an add on to my comment above. My wife got her first job a few weeks ago as a chef (her term) in a Thai restaurant. When she got her first paycheck she said that now she can send money from her job to her parents. That made me smile. I knew her expectations and obligations even before I asked her to marry six years ago. While the initial adjustment period was brutal, she came from a village of about 500, things just keep getting better and better.

Our immigration journey that is. My wife took her citizenship oath today and we applied for her expedited passport to join the family for Songkran.
A very big thank you to everybody on this site for all their help, guidance and encouragement. A special shout out to Ning and Karee if they are still around. While we paid easyfianceevisa for the K-1, the help from this site enabled us to AOS, ROC and Naturalize on our own.
While the first few months were a bit rocky, my wife eventually got her driver's license, found a local temple, has many Thai friends, went to and is still going to school and found a job as cook in a Thai restaurant about 5 minutes from our house. We return to visit family at least once a year. And, my wife learned to snowboard this year at Mammoth.
Life is good and I wish all of those starting or on their way, the best of luck.

If your wife is a Permanent Resident when you move away, I believe if she is out of the country for more than 180 continous days she will be considered to have abandoned her GC. If you're moving away and don't intend on residing in the US why even worry about citizenship? She can't move away and come back in 2019 and try apply.

BOROWITZ REPORT FEBRUARY 29, 2016 Trump Derailed by Obama’s Endorsement BY ANDY BOROWITZ Share Tweet CREDITPHOTOGRAPH BY AUDE GUERRUCCI/PICTURE-ALLIANCE/DPA/APWASHINGTON (The Borowitz Report)—Adding a new wrinkle in an already unpredictable election year, Donald Trump saw his poll numbers plummet on Monday after receiving a surprise endorsement from President Barack Obama.
The long-awaited downfall of the abrasive billionaire came in startling fashion, as few had expected the President to offer a full-throated endorsement of Trump, especially on the eve of the all-important Super Tuesday primaries.
Praising the Republican front-runner during a nationally televised address, the President said that, despite media reports to the contrary, Trump shared his views on such important issues as immigration and religious tolerance. “In every way that matters, Donald and I are on exactly the same page,” Obama said, pointing to a framed picture of the billionaire on his Oval Office desk.
Concluding his endorsement with an emphatic closing argument, Obama said, “If you love me, vote for Trump.”
In several G.O.P. polls taken after the President’s stunning endorsement, Trump sank from first to fifth place, trailing the retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson by several points.
As news of the President’s endorsement spread, former Trump supporters across the nation gathered to vent their anger, with some burning signs, trucker hats, and other campaign paraphernalia at impromptu bonfires.
Harland Dorrinson, who had attended a massive Trump rally in Alabama just a day earlier, said that he now felt totally betrayed by the billionaire. “I guess when all is said and done, Donald Trump was just too good to be true,” he said.

My 2 cents from the little I know of Thai culture. My wife has nine brothers and sisters, all low wage earners. Two of her brothers live with her parents. Her one sister has a small shop in their village. It is usually up to the youngest to see the parents are taken care of. My wife is the second youngest and her younger sister does help them a little bit. We discussed this before we got married and send money every month. We can afford it and it allows them to eat well and her mother to be generous member of their temple which is extremely important to her. Her father looks after our house in the village and tends to our yard. And her parents have never asked me/us for anything, we do it because we can afford to and $300 a month is a game changer for them. Someone once said to me that in some Asian cultures, you're not just marrying the wife, you're marrying the family. I am happy to do it and fortunate that I can.
The moving to a different city is a deal breaker for me. If that topic even came up it would be over but, then that's just me.

My wife just finished her citizenship classes, passed the interview and is waiting for her oath. This process has been an eye opener for me. In her class she met two Vietnamese ladies who had already become citizens but wanted to learn more about the U.S. Then there were the two Mexican gentleman she met who are here illegally. They were taking the class to learn about the U.S even though they acknowledged the can never apply for natualization.

Agreed. If you filed for AOS 751, you already have most of the documents you need. When we submitted our N400, we basically used our 751 package and added some additional bills and our recent taxes. Submitted in October 2015, wife studied and attended citizenship classes at the adult school and passed her interview yesterday. She has her oath ceremony in 12 days. Go the 3 year route for sure.
