Your mother getting married doesn't grant her citizenship. What so bad about going back to your home country, there are many safe place still there.
Making bad decisions will only compound and make the problem even bigger. Your mother needs to get the immigration facts straight first before she makes any ill gain decisions.

Thank you so much everyone. Yes, it is so nice to hear that there are successful marriages with our MENA men!! We did have a few red flags but my hubby was very prepared at his interview and I think they had decided he was approved before his interview. They looked at none of his evidence and he was approved within 10 minutes!!
Congrats to all of you still happily married and to those of you still waiting on your husbands and boyfriends to arrive I wish you long and happy marriages.

No, he didn't. In the 4th century the bishop Eusebius, at the behest of Emperor Constantine, forged a ridiculous passage into Josephus' Antiquities of the Jews. That was necessary in order to use the police power of the Roman State to impose a religious tyranny over the people as a means of controlling the population. Different factions had very different beliefs about the nature of Christ, (God, Spirit, Man) and this was resolved at the Council of Nicea in 325 CE with Constantine presiding and Bishop Eusebius serving as his right hand man. They couldn't agree so they made him all three, which is called the Trinity or the Nicene Creed. The Church at Rome was using the forged history to lay claim to linear descent from Jesus to Peter to the first four nonexistent Popes.
There is a long history of forgery in Christianity, the most obscene of which is probably the "Donation of Constantine". The ones most interesting to me are the co-option of Marcion's forged letters of Paul by the protocatholics in Rome. They could not defeat the Marcionites, so they co-opted their literature (letters of the legendary Paul) and edited them sufficient to their own ends.
There are no contemporary references. You'd be able to name them if there were. In Josephus' works there are on the order of 26 persons named Jesus, including the son of a high priest, a leader of rebels who fought the Romans, and my favorite who was a bit of a loon that was indeed tortured by Pilate. He died in the Battle of Jerusalem, hit by a boulder thrown my a Roman Seige engine saying "Woe is Israel". But nobody even remotely resembling the Biblical Jesus.

    Congratulations!
Visa Journey has a very good guide to read as a starting place. It details the whole process, along with what you need to qualify and what you will need to obtain during the process. I suggest you start here: http://www.visajourney.com/content/k1guide
You would also benefit from going directly to the USCIS website (http://www.uscis.gov ) and clicking on the I-129f form, reading over the form and the instructions and reading over all of the links. The forms and the instructions also contain valuable information about what you need to do to start the process.
Good luck - and don't hesitate to ask any questions you may have here. It is a good idea, though, to have done some sort of initial research on your own as many of your questions may be readily answered in the paperwork you have to complete For other questions, you can post them here in the K-1 visa forum.
btw - it isn't a good idea to post the same question more than once or to start more than one thread on the same concern. Sometimes you just need to be a little bit patient and wait for the right people to read your question and then respond. On a day like today - Christmas Day - many of our members will be busy with family and religious activities and may not be on line right now to answer questions. Be patient and you will get your answers. I have removed the duplicate post you made asking the same question.

I wonder why those Palestinians with "all those weapons and ammunition" would choose to throw rocks and bottles at soldiers who are holding guns and shooting tear gas at them.
You prolly should bulldoze the rocks away and leave them completely unarmed then they can be shot safely for sport

Israel's illegal settlers in the West Bank are all packing, as I've shown many times - the Israeli government itself provides them with the weapons and the training, and the Israeli military provides them with extra protection as the settlers harass, assault and even murder Palestinians with those weapons.
But Berko has just inadvertently admitted that Israel's illegal settlers are not civilians at all: they're a militia, doing a job - which is to assist with the continued dispossession of the Palestinian people.
Of course, Palestinians are not allowed to have guns - then they might be able to defend themselves.

Having met both TBone and Mrs TB in person I can attest to that. She is a beautiful, charming woman, very self-assured and with a very good sense of humour. She and Mr. TBone are actually a great match and I know she often gives him a 'run for his money' so to speak. You do notice, of course, in these re-countings, that Mrs. TBone almost always ends up with the upper hand?

It's not, but neither is it funny for a woman to make her husband look stupid, but somehow that's widely tolerated (and often encouraged as well).

    Dear Amber&Neil:
Well, I'm not sure if you're Amber or Neil, but fortunately, my answer would be the same either way: POLYESTER!
Although I'm a modern woman, I admit that I can be a little bit old fashioned. If someone is going to the trouble of hosting a party, you should make some effort with your dress. For the ladies, I suggest a red dress with vertical stripes, and large glasses. Also, bring a bottle of champagne (a welcome gift for all occasions) and a tub of Cool Whip. Your hosts will be wowed by your thoughtfulness!
For the guys, brown polyester pants (trousers) can't be beat, and a collared shirt of your choice. Some may disagree, but to me, big collars never went out of style.
Good luck, and have a great time at the party.
    Love,
    Joyce

    Dear Mr. Fancypants:
Yes, that is true. As for why you're turned off by the "natural look," perhaps your partner (or former partner, I don't mean to be presumptuous) should practice a different hygiene regimen. Perfumed soaps, scented douches, and personal sprays make great gifts.
    Good luck!

I just want to welcome you to California.
As you may or may not know, California is officially the Golden State. As such California has attracted gold diggers for way over a Century. You'll feel right at home here. Weather is nice too.
Then again, Riverside is Redneck Central, so be careful when you leave the house at night.

I'm not in the Pope's fan club, but I agree with him.
If homosexuality was "normal," then humanity would not even made it to the birth of Baby Jesus. The intelligent design and the survival of the human race really requires that a man has an orgasm inside the ####### of a woman. No way around it.

Hey first things first Hearty Congratulations on your approval. Great news for you.
I think with some of the comments here on your approval, I am not surprised, I mean we are all human. It's natural to compare the timelines and be frustrated. So the reaction is not towards you getting your approval so fast but more of a reflection on how long the rest of us are having to wait. I am 100% sure a vast majority of the posters are just frustrated with their own pending applications than being unhappy your faster approval.
Congratulations once again and all the best for the rest of the process.
    Cheers.

No need to apologise. This has come up in the past many times, and will do again. Do not let the naysayers dampen your happiness in this.
People seem to have the idea, however silly, that someone else getting approved quickly in some way slows them down. That there is some imaginary line we are all standing in, and these people who get quick approvals are somehow butting in ahead of others. That THEY were there first. Which is utter nonsense. There is no way to compare one persons case against another, every last one has it's own idiosyncrasies, and every last one gets dealt with in a singular way, sometimes it takes no time at all, and other cases take quite a lot of time indeed.
I remember being a K1 filer very well. We were last in our group, and that has followed me up til ROC. Always last in any queue. And after finally getting our NOA2 on the K1, we were yanked out of line and placed in 'random' AP at NVC, which was not before common practice. Held up there a further almost 2 months, and missed Christmas together, thank you very much. But I didn't feel that any of that gave me the right to moan about other people getting in some perceived line 'ahead' of me. I congratulated every last one of them, and meant it. It's what adult grown up people do.
I think what disturbs me most of all, is this desire to pour scorn and disapproval on the lucky few who whiz through the process with the rally cry of ' it's not fair!!!" "They filed after we did!' " They are lucky and got the faster service center!"
Life isn't fair. It is what it is. When your number comes up with USCIS, it comes up. Until that time, try and maintain a little dignity.
What also isn't fair is to try and subdue the joy of people who have successfully run the gauntlet, even if it appears that they started after you did. Why do we need to begrudge those people their happiness? Why do some think it is acceptable to put a lid posts like that, or warn the poster that they can be happy, just not too happy, and scold them that they had better watch their words so as not of upset or annoy or provoke the ones who are still waiting?

It seems real coincidental and very convenient that the first 2 years you were married and STILL in the Philippines you were happy, yet at the beginning of the last 3 years of you marriage ie right when you entered the US & received your greencard your marriage started making you miserable. Smells fishy. As mentioned you could get yourself in trouble if someone decides to look twice at your case due to all your claims and demands. Don't be greedy. Cut and go, wait a few more years then apply for citizenship.

You can forget alimony in California. It's almost never awarded anymore. What they might award is spousal support. What's the difference? Alimony is paid for the rest of your life or until you remarry. Spousal support is paid for a specific length of time, and is based on both of your incomes. There is a formula in the California State Family code that the judge will use to determine the spousal support amount. If you both had comparable incomes then you wouldn't get any support. If you earned more than him then you could end up paying spousal support to him. Everything depends on the income situation for both of you, as well as the marital assets and debts that are declared and how they are being distributed. For example, if you both signed a loan during the marriage and he's taking responsibility to pay back that loan then you could end up with less spousal support because of it.
Also, spousal support is up to the discretion of the judge in a marriage of less than five years duration, but it's usually awarded in marriages of five years or more. The duration the spousal support paid is usually half the duration of the marriage or less. So, if you've been married five years then you might get spousal support for 2 1/2 years at most unless you can make a compelling argument why you should receive it for longer.
Forget about bringing up the fact that he's been unfaithful. California is a no-fault divorce state.
Nothing is going to happen until you go to family court and file a petition for divorce. The judge isn't going to order spousal support before then.
BE CAREFUL! I know a Filipina in Northern California who was denied citizenship, lost her green card, and is now in removal proceedings. Why? The immigration officer found out her marriage had been on the rocks for years, and the only reason she waited to file for a divorce was so she could get US citizenship first. The IO looked back into her case file and determined her marriage had been a sham from the start, so he revoked her green card and placed her in removal proceedings. The IO's are quite well aware of the divorce law in the Philippines, and know that a Filipino will often postpone filing for a US divorce until they become a US citizen in order to get around the divorce law in the Philippines. Consult with both an immigration AND divorce attorney before you proceed.

Don't use a binder as there will only be a narrow slit under the glass between you and the CO, so everything should be flexible enough to be skidded under. Recommend separate folders instead of handing CO everything in a big stack. You hand him only what he ask for.
I have heard that now embassies also wanting I-864 affidavit of support form in addition to I-134, so take both with you.
