Pretty tough if you don't live there. They can tell you anything they want. In my case the first girl didn't want to be pregnant, but ended up pregnant. Technically abortion is illegal in Thailand, but readily available at certain hospitals. She went there and had an abortion. While I waited for her at the restaraunt downstairs, I took a look at her phone. There were all these messages from some westerner about what a good time they had in Phuket. Of course she said those messages were for her friend, not her. I could go on and on.
A year or two later I ended up at a police station in northern Bangkok with a minor stab wound from her sister. The cops were laughing about that whole thing and drinking my scotch. I called the embassy over and over with no response. I was eventually force to sign a confession in Thai by the police. No idea what it said.
That time of my life I was making ~100k USD a year in BKK. When I met my wife, I was making much less and eventually was not working at all. My wife supported me on about $150-$175 a month working in haircut shop. In the end, I was lucky. I was able to live with my wife and see that she was not in it for the cash. Her friends kept telling her to get rid of that poor foreigner. She stuck by me in Bangkok.
This all happened 2004-2007. My wife has been here in Texas for 3+ years. She drives. She has a job. I've been back on the job with the largest telecom company in the U.S. for 4+ years.
Sorry to ramble, but if you meet a hot hooker in Bangkok, and think she's the one and you can change her, you're wasting your time. If you meet a hot hooker in Bangkok, short time her, pay her and forget about her. She will not change.

You brought her over here so you are responsible.
In preventing marriage fraud, it is the petitioner who is in the best position to know if he is being scammed for a green card. The petitioner vouches for the intending immigrant and agree to take financial responsibility.
    1. Stop being financially responsible for her escapades. --> File for divorce. Cancel her credit cards. Remove her from your accounts. Put a hold on your credit (since she probably has your personal information). However, you are stuck with the I-864 obligations. Divorce will not terminate the I-864 obligations. To get her green card, you agreed to the terms of the I-864 obligations even in the event of divorce, so you are stuck with it.
    2. Can immigration help --> No. You brought her over. You vouched for her. You are responsible. Her leaving you is between you and her. It does not affect her immigration status. As long as she is married to you and her conditional green card has not expired, then she has no immigration problem. When her conditional green card expires in two years, you can expect her to ask you to reconcile with her so she can keep her green card (read some of the posts on this site - this happens a lot more than you think.).
If you divorce her, then her conditional green card status becomes invalid. She could apply on her own for a green card, but why the heck would you care at this point? You can't do anything about it, so move on with your life.
You aren't the first to be scammed, and you will not be the last. Protect yourself and move on. Let USCIS and ICE deal with her immigration status.

everyone is following the petitioning process here on vj. and they have the political rights to contact their representatives. welcome to politics.
the supply of unlawful immigrants responds to the economic activity. it is a labor problem in the united states, unless citizens want to work below minimum wage to seize every job opportunity, which i doubt.

if he has been missing for 24 hours. you should go to the police department and let them do the searching for you. he would eventually surface up and you will get informed on his situation. then i would decide his real intentions before withdrawing support. it is just too irrational to withdraw support on the dot.
