  1. On Uniting for Ukraine the beneficiary does not need be a relative. I am sure you could not and will not find that condition on the website since it does not exist. I think this officer must have been confused. I think there is actually another person in this thread that has their financee in the process also. By the way welcome to the forum. You probably don't need to cross post so much. -Kineo
  2. Right, from what I have seen more of a system wide problem. I see the same message when I check this morning. -Kineo
  3. I have gotten it occasionally. It usually goes away after a few hours. -K
  4. Once they marry and file for AOS they would change to Immigrant status, no longer on humanitarian parole under U4U. Just not really much documentation on that that I have seen.
  5. It is not a visa. It is a humanitarian parole. They can stay up to 2 years at this time. No they can not stay. Their maybe more options in the future. -Kineo
  6. I think Boiler is right about applying for EAD. But I have seen anything that confirm it in government information. -Kineo
  7. From everything I have read U4U would have no effect one way one another on immigration status. They are treat as two totally separate things. Which makes total sense to me. With the situation in Ukraine virtually everyone is disrupted or displaced. This alone would make a proving process more difficult. The requirements are they most have been residing it Ukraine before a certain day and they leave the country to come here. (Which they have to anyway) -Kineo
  8. Found this link: https://www.acf.hhs.gov/orr/fact-sheet/benefits-ukrainian-humanitarian-parolees I thought this thread would be very interested in this information. -Kineo
  9. https://www.healthcare.gov/get-coverage/ The will get you to your state marketplace for health insurance. For Maine there is a "Get started" guided process. For most beneficiaries they will probably qualify for low or no premium insurance since they will have no income and little assets. -Kineo
  10. I am not sure I would consider that a slowdown.... Sounds more like the diversity visa problem. Just simply not doing them.
  11. F3, Sep 2021:22NOV08, Jun 2022: 22NOV08 F4 hasn't moved either, Sept 2021: 22MAR07, Jun 2022: 22MAR07
  12. It has been about a year since I had checked the Visa Bulletin. I checked today and the priority date is exactly the same as when I looked last September. Anyone heard the story on this? If there is another thread on this let me know. Thanx - Kineo
  13. I highly doubt if it checks the geolocation of the IP. Anyway the sponsor completes and submits the I-134. The Beneficiaries complete the attestations. -Kineo
  14. You may be able find connections though church organizations like Catholic Charities or Lutherans, Ukrainian cultural groups, or refugee assistance organizations. -Kineo
  15. I had gotten that message on one of my submissions. The next day it submitted just fine. -Kineo
  16. The vaccination records are not require for Uniting for Ukraine. But they may need them for other needs once they are here. e.g. school enrollment for children in many states. I expect they would need to be an official translation. Your medical screening questions are a good ones. I've been asking them myself. Getting health insurance in place for this seems to me to be challenging in 14 days. -Kineo
  17. Not yet. My beneficiaries haven't arrived yet. Good to know about the possibility of a fee waiver. Do you know how that is supposed to work? Thanx - Kineo
  18. I bought round trip tickets because it was much less expensive. Also with the eye to possibly rescheduling the return departure date if it makes sense. If not, I'll either cancel for a partial credit or let it expire. -Kineo
  19. From my understanding they will need travel passports. The information from this passport should have been entered during the I-134 process. But can be entered during the attestation step. This passport information needs to match the travel authorization information. I'm pretty sure they can get the travel passport by visiting the nearest Ukrainian embassy. -Kineo
  20. If the sponsor's assets/income is sufficient, leaving the beneficiaries blank would be just fine. I did not list any beneficiary assets on my 4 submissions. -Kineo
  21. I would recommend avoiding London as I think, not sure, they will need to get a transit visa. I'm very sure transit visa are no longer need in the EU. Information here:https://www.gov.uk/transit-visa/visitor-in-transit-visa
  22. Yes we have used Gmail for both the petitioner and beneficiaries in all 4 cases. Also the last 2 took <4 days start to finish. -Kineo
  23. From the document you linked: COVID-19 Vaccine (Select one): I have received at least one dose of an FDA approved or authorized COVID-19 vaccine or a COVID-19 vaccine with WHO emergency use listing (EUL). I have not received at least one dose of an FDA approved or authorized COVID-19 vaccine or a COVID-19 vaccine with WHO EUL but qualify for an exception to this requirement because I am younger than 5 years old. I have not received at least one dose of an FDA approved or authorized COVID-19 vaccine or a COVID-19 vaccine with WHO EUL but qualify for an exception to this requirement because I have a history of a known medical contraindication to the COVID-19 vaccine. Contraindications are listed at https://www.cdc.gov/vaccines/covid-19/clinical-considerations/interim-considerations-us.html#contraindications. I am older than 5 years of age, but I not vaccinated against COVID-19 because the vaccine is not approved or licensed for use in my age group. I will get vaccinated within 14 days of arrival in the US. The last item is available. We selected and got our Uniting for Ukraine Travel Authorization. Now K1 and other types if VISAs are a different story from my understanding... -Kineo
