  1. U4U would work good for this. Kinda good example of the program. You will need to complete an I-134 for each your friend and the daughter.
  2. My understanding is, Yes. I haven't heard a U4U beneficiary who has done this yet though. I-131 usually takes 3-5 months. -Kineo
  3. U4U is not TPS. So last I knew you will need to file a paper I-765. When you file the i-765 you can also file a I-912 fee waiver request.
  4. Good to hear EAD are getting processed a little quicker! From my research on foreign driver's license validity is that it varies from state to state. Many states it is only valid for 120 days. From my recollection a few are as long as1 year, some are as short as 90 days. -Kineo
  5. The first thing would be the TB screening. Not sure as there is any checklist after that. After that, like you mentioned the I-765(Social Security card). Might want apply for advanced parole if she wants/needs to travel aboard(not sure if this works). Then probably health insurance, driver's license, etc -Kineo
  6. I forgot to add, though it might be obvious, the Mom and child must travel together.
  7. It is Ok that the child is on the Mom's passport. But you will need to file a seperate I-134 for the child referencing Mom's passport. -Kineo
  8. You are starting to get into International law violation territory here. Beyond that CBP will not allow the child to travel without proof of guardianship.
  9. From what I have heard (we haven't got to this step yet) they will find a link in their USCIS accounts to note this information. -Kineo
  10. I would recommend checking tomorrow. My experience was that thing showed up the day after it said "action taken". -Kineo
  11. Not exactly sure what she is trying to do. But my guess is that she is trying to add more than one case to her USCIS account. Each beneficiary will need to set up a separate USCIS account with a separate email address, even children. - Kineo
  12. Yes, it appear she would need to have at least one dose of a FDA approved COVID vaccine before departing for the US. See link: https://www.uscis.gov/humanitarian/uniting-for-ukraine/uniting-for-ukraine-vaccine-attestation -Kineo
  13. I am very sure that they won't be any connection between the 2 things you have going on. I wouldn't share things that they don't ask about though. Sometimes too much information can lead to confusion on their part. -Kineo
  14. There are not fees for the I-134 / Uniting for Ukraine program. -Kineo
  15. I have been concerned about that also. But I have no first hand experience with it since all 4 of beneficiary were processed with no issues. I personally would lean the same way as you. If I got nowhere then do the reapply. -Kineo
  16. Case Confirmed is like an approval of your I-134. Your beneficiary should have gotten an email shortly after. Make they check spam folders, etc. That said several people have experienced breakdowns in the process. It seems like the quickest resolution often has been to reapply. -Kineo
  17. The confirmation will notice will show it the sponsor's portal. Only the beneficiary received emails in all 4 of my applications. -Kineo
  18. Yes, U4U is humanitarian Parole. From what I understand the information you quoted is true. Health insurance can be obtained through the healthcare.gov site. -Kineo
