since there has been a lot of delays in case status showing up online, the agency inorder to reduce the volume of calls they get from people asking why they cannot see their case online , has now decided to post that update to address it.
So they are basically saying "dnt bother us if your case status does not show up online two months after we send you receipt notice".
like that will calm people's nerves especially when you hear that some can see their status online.

OP well you have seen how to proceed from where you are.I believe it does not feel good to be told what i should have done but hoefully it would help advice someone else if they need that info. This is a public forum and Evylin's post commenting on SHOULD have did not mean harm IMO(since I had the same reaction in mind).
If OP concludes they dnt have enough time after visa, court wedding, AP to plan their church wedding, they could decide to do church wedding now in their country, file a CR-1 and then request that USCIS stop K-1 pocessing but remember you have been waiting four months already since k-1 filing.

the CEAC update is very sporadic. someone saw the one and only update to her case on that site weeks after her visa approval.

With all due respect you can't compare someone who can freely visit the US before and during the process with someone from Nigeria. We USC's married to nigerians its all on us to go there. And there are few very few countries they can go to without Visa so a 3rd country meet up is almost impoSsible.
It happens life happens.
I stayed with my husband 6 1/2 months my first and only visit. Its been now 17 months 16 days since I last saw him. But I am preparing to go now and will be there a few months before he moves.
Everybody doesn't have that luxury or leeway.
So don't judge or compare because when it comes to Nigeria there is no comparison.

Well I think it's helpful to show we all are going through alot of different things That she isn't alone and maybe my problems are worse than what she is going through.For me it helps knowing I'm not alone and other people have the same struggles in life ...so it's relevant to me

OP if there are other issues here apart from her refusal to discuss the prenup topic then rethink your plans. I personally do not agree with a prenup and would be very offended if my husband brought it up too even though I am the one who stands to lose a great deal more. maybe because I went into marriage with belief and instructions from a unique book. does that mean others who sign a pre nup are making mistakes? of course not. just as we should not chastize her for not wanting one. We all think and act differently.
The fact that she refused to discuss it may stem from the way and timing it was brought up. I have found myself hotly refusing to discuss an issue with my hubby initially only to back down and we iron it lot later amicably. Peopel hold tight to their cultures, traditions and belief systmes they were raised up with and it is very easy for some of us who who do not have that or once had it but have assimilated another way of thinking to castigate them.
Give her time and try another approach. follow it from a questions approach Like :" I would like to hear from you what you belief is about prenup and why youhave reservations about it" instead of " I want us to sign prenup before we move ahead".
If the prenup is more imprtant to you, the ball is in your court.
Please dnt give people the chance to call her " baby" "immature" 'selfish" here just because she is demonstraing her being a free agent also.

Darnell I have followed your instructions to the letter and it has been great.
Just for the next time no waiver to present at interview. Instead a "unobtainable documents" letter and request they Case complete you.
I am still floating on air. If Case complete feels like. What the heck does interview assign feel like and OMG I may pass out at Visa Approved.

Aawwww Mrs.Ndu26 you are too sweet. I have tears from all the out pouring of genuine support I have here.
I truly believe in this journey called life whether Visa or otherwise you must celebrate and truly be happy for others that are being blessed with exactly what you want.
Trust me I be lying if I didn't wonder what was happening at times. If it wasn't happening to me I wouldn't believe it.
But I am so happy for my VJ peeps here. Every petition sent in every NOA2, approval, case complete interview date. I just celebrate with u all. It has kept me encouraged through all this.

I really cannot explain why people get approval after multiple denials especially when their situation did dmot change in terms of ties to home country. I personallyjust attribute it to a good hearted CO deciding to give the applicant the benefit of the doubt finally
