I'll be damned! -- you were right. She went to city hall in her province and I just left the Philippine Consulate office here in L.A., signed, sealed now time to deliver.

I completely disagree with you ... what if the shoe was on the other foot? I think you would demand the same from HER.

Thanks because this is precisely what the interviewers/CFO counsellors are trained to spot: Shifty excuses for not telling your fiance about your criminal record or bankruptcy. If the interviewer sees that your fiance doesn't know, people are telling you by experience your chances of getting rejected suddenly go way up.
Gotta love this kind of manipulative reasoning: "I'm not going to tell my fiance about my criminal record because it's like telling her about all my old girlfriends". We get it, alright. Your fiance has a lot of this to deal with in her future.
My wife doesn't have a college degree and I have a PhD. But she knew what kind of work I did within a day of meeting me. The inablity to explain your work in a technical field to someone else outside of it shows a complete lack of empathy for them. That's a sign of YOU having a problem, not HER. My wife does not understand nonlinear regression. But she can understand me saying that I forecast energy prices. Or that I evaluate the feasibility of hydroelectric dams, ports, and other projects.
It's more of a put-down people like to use that others "couldn't understand" what you do. Everyone has things they do better than others. So what.

Primary concern with the embassy is that the relationship is real and NO fraud. The Beneficiary knows her fiance/spouse at a personal level.

If any of you guys have some skeletons in the closet I suggest you clear them before your fiancée gets to the U.S. Embassy interview. My fiancée said there was a Pinay there who just found out from the consulate that her man had a criminal record and prison time. My fiancée' said she broke down in complete tears and shame. You need to understand that a criminal record in the Philippines is a much more shameful event than most other countries.
The Embassy immediately put her case on review based on her reaction to the events they shared with her. That automatically adds another 60 days to your wait time.
Another girl had found out that her fiancée was owing the federal government more than $45 in back taxes and she was having withdraw discussions with other Filipinas in the Embassy too.
Therefore --- if you love this woman, you better let her know everything about yourself before she finds out from your background checks. ALSO - Make sure she has every single bit of paperwork she needs because there were several 221G cases documented for lack of evidence.

I am sorry I have to air this out, better to say my piece than make myself go nuts with anger.
So I received a message from the admin of the PRETTY LADIES group. Apparently I said something foul to one of the members and that they have blocked me from the group for doing so. (accdg to their guidelines per se) So I replied and copy pasted the wall posts of that said member. I showed the admin how vulgar and tactless this member’s words are. Not everyone wants to know her sexual escapades because some people have morals and values that she clearly is lacking. All I did is rephrase her words and make her realize how foul her mouth is. She prides herself from being an English teacher and a professional but her words and actions make her seem no less than a bar girl. Countless times I have seen her pipe in in conversations and brag about her man’s goodies.
Not only does she have a dirty mind, but she clearly is lacking from common sense. She saw this post in VJ and could not believe that people will speak out about what is really happening. She just thinks someone is out to ruin the group. So she called the people who reprimanded her for being moralists and being self-righteous.
And guess what the admin did? She blocked me from the group. Why? ‘Cause that girl said I was being foul. What is funny is all the words I used, that she thinks is foul, came from the girl herself. It is ridiculous! She got mad because the truth hurts. No matter what explanation I give and evidence to show that all I did is say “no one wants to know that your man is blah blah blah..” I got the boot. Well, it is clear; it’s either they don’t have any common sense or no good grasp of the English language. They only see what they want to see, hear what they want to hear. They twist your words so it ends up wrong and take it way out of context. I showed her the evidences but it fell on deaf ears and blind eyes.
I don’t care that I am no longer in that group. I was gonna leave anyway. I don’t care for all their drama. I just find it REALLY funny that I was there right from the start and this is what I get. We were even the ones who suggested creating a group! All that from a status message here in VJ when someone was out looking for friends. We made it grow, made it fun, made it helpful. It wasn’t a one person team. It was a GROUP effort. The creator of the group wasn’t even there most of the time. Now that it has grown so large, the idea of additional moderators doesn’t seem to be grasped by the group owner. People who dare speak out get booted. Kiss their bum and you are saved. So let the walls be filled with filthy mouths and flaming posts and trolls since simpletons thrive in that environment.
And what conviction do the “moral and self-righteous people” get? Guilty. Judged without trial and removed from the group that they themselves created. It doesn’t matter that you were once friends and that you once helped her.
    Oh well, just another day.
Good bye Pretty Ladies. Good bye to all the negativity and drama. I choose to be happy

I sure wish some people knew an answer for sure before they post help for someone. It could really cause legal problems with the wrong advise.
#1. You can't get in a jam or have problems for filing, withdrawing and then filing again with another respondent (foreign fiancee) ---- I personally know guys who have been through this. USCIS understands that all relationships don't work.
#2 If you break up with your fiancee you need to file a "Motion to Withdraw I129F"
Contact the National Visa Center with a request to withdraw your petition. No explanation is necessary. Be sure to reference any confirmation numbers you received in response to your original petition. Send this letter certified.
Wait until you receive confirmation that your petition has been withdrawn. Be patient, as notification of withdrawn petitions can take some time.

Yeah, it is sad that this is what it has come down to. Crappy lawyers advertising for work. So much are the days of ambulance chasers, now they are stalking internet users.
We don't need these people to file applications for us that is for sure. But, with the promise of faster, someone will believe them and be taken for a ride, minus some $$$$.

I have been hearing that there are some of these "quick visa" scamming companies working the boards. I guess business is slow ant they are actively contacting VJ members to help process their applications. YOU DON'T NEED THEM! Everything you need to do can be found right here, especially help and support from those of us that are going through the process. I was told that one company was trying to charge the couple $1200 to file the initial I129 forms .... what a JOKE!
Be Careful ... Be very careful ... They cannot RUSH the process for you - it is impossible!!

I have noticed many people posting thoughts and concerns about items such as stapling, bindings, name spellings, the items that were sent with the packet, how many chat logs, what envelopes to use, the kinds of pictures and very simple things that we all sweat it out about on this end. I even saw one about the position of the photographs on the packet. I have a friend of a friend that works sorting and reviewing petitioner packets for all kinds of visa requests and his comment is "...unfortunately the petitioner is in the hands of the individual case worker..." It is left completely within the mood and the procedure of the case worker reviewing your application and paperwork and as long as you have the correct items in that packet, they have the power within their hands to issue and RFE or not.
I know of a guy who petitioned a K1 for a girl and was completely approved without hassle -- their relationship fell apart and she returned home. He petitioned a second girl with the exact same packet of information later with just name changes and different pictures, using the same passport and was given an RFE because his divorce decree did not have a judges signature (only the state stamp). This proves to me that some reviewers are stricter than others. My acquaintance at the center also says NEVER send any pictures that are sexual in any nature and cross out all references to sexual chat in your logs. Some reviewers are very insulted by this type of material and you need to be very neutral! He said that pictures that include family and friends prove a genuine relationship.
He did say that they don't "sit" on paperwork and that everything has a date stamp as it goes through each process. Some months are busier than others and west coast receives 1/3 more applications than east coast. Patience is the answer here folks.
Good Luck --- to all of us.

Filipino have colonial mentality and doesn't care about the quality as long its branded, as its more pleasing to the eyes of other Filipino.
And please don't get me wrong, but most of the Americans that can afford to be generous with their wife are in their 40's+ because they don't have so much mortgage, lower insurance, paid off cars and of course, been working for so long that the salary been high enough. But if you're between 25 and 35, you just bought a house/paying rent that goes up every term, higher insurance, car loan and of course you are starting in lower position, so your salary is enough to cover household expenses.

Tell them the truth. If they ask if you had sex, then yes is the answer.
If you're married, you cannot get a K-1 visa. K-1 is for fiances only. If you are already married, and you applied for a K-1 visa, I'm sorry but you need to start over again. It doesn't matter if you married in a church, mosque, cruise ship or city hall. If you're married, you're married and CR-1 is the only appropriate visa. (IR-1 if you've been married over 2 years. K-3 doesn't exist anymore)
It is illegal to get a K-1 visa if you are married. If you lie to them about the wedding, get a K-1, and it is later discovered that you were married when you got the K-1, you can and most likely will be deported, even after you get to the US.
It sucks, but in your situation you should probably look into canceling the K-1 and have your wife file for an I-130 petition and apply for a CR-1 visa. It will take longer, but you will have done it legally.

It is all about America, it is from hometowns where you did hard work and played just as hard. I admit as a child my son called blue grass "country gone bad" but he has grown now and has a banjo and a mandolin of his how , oh an a dulcimer. My hometown still doesn't have cell phone coverage and the graduating class is just over 100. Country and bluegrass is the music of the backbone of America and the uniting music that has an audience across the generations. You can go to the concerts on not worry about covering your chlds years for the language, you don't see or smell drugs and the medical responce team is sleeping not mending people from injuries from fights.

I am not very far from the CSC and so I decided to snap a pic of it for you ... pretty 1960's huh? Just FYI - They don't process faster if you tell them you will hang out there LOL!
