    As for me, the magic has happened today! It seems like they finally found my application after almost 2 months, because I just saw 3 charges on my bank accounts for the fees.
    Maybe they will tell me that I am still using an incorrect form or other issues, but I feel a bit relieved for now

    I sent a request to expedite my EAD, however they responded saying that Biometrics are needed, and that the case is on hold until the opening of offices in June. So fingerprints are required for most cases, if not all.

    Update- We received the e-notifications via text last night.  Today, I saw they cashed our check.  I'm expecting the NOA1 to arrive by mail any day.  Very relieved...I was starting to go crazy.

    Great!!! Good luck with everything. Although for my case, USPS never notified me about delivery, infact no updates in two days, I got financial transactions pending as of this morning towards the Chicago Lockbox. Still keeping my fingers crossed. The overnight declaration from the current administration about withholding immigration process also puts a lot of confusion. Let's see what happens.

    We are about to send our application for AOS, and we currently live in NY. However, we are planning on moving to another state in few months, for lifestyle reasons. The wife is working here in NY, while I will be waiting for a Working Permit. We would like to send our application, and making the new state our home (already have address there) before we finally move there. We believe that changing address while the application is processing might cause further delay....Could this situation cause problem?
