i wanted to say good luck to everyone no matter what stage you are at.

my interview is 23/9 and I will not be going as i filed for divorce last week.

after months of emotional abuse from my husband I found out the reason why he was treating me so appallingly is because he has been cheating, with someone who knows he s married. So basically they deserve each other.

Im so glad I found out now and hadn t given up my life, home, Job, stability and pulled our son out of school.

I m finding it tough as this man pursued me to marry him for the second time for two years and promised us the world .

Im grieving the life I thought we would have and of course him. Although I realise it s for the best, it will take time to get over the betrayal,lies and deceit.

Hi all,

3 days after my biometrics appointment my case status for my I-485 application has changed to "My Case Is Ready To Be Scheduled For An Interview". Does anyone know how long roughly until I get a letter in the mail informing me of my interview date?

Also, my I-765 still says " My Case Was Updated To Show Fingerprints Were Taken". Would it be too soon for me to start applying for jobs? How long could it be until I receive my combo card?

Hi everyone. My husband as been trying for months to get into his USCIS account. We haven't been able to get into it at all, even on the day he made it because it asked for some information and a number we don't have but I don't remember specifically what it asked for. I don't think he was able to complete making his account because of this, but the website must think he did finish the process. Anyway, he tried to reset his password and got an email saying his account was locked from too many failed attempts to login, but he didn't make any attempts he only tried to reset his password. We filled out the contact form to get some help unlocking his account but have yet to hear anything.

The reason this is a problem is because we aren't sure how else to make an appointment at our local office. Eventually he will need a green card extension stamp in his passport since his GC extension letter is set to expire in April. We are just trying to get this sorted now so that we don't have to deal with it next year. It's been over a year since we applied for ROC, and it doesn't seem likely he will get his new GC before the extension letter expires. I hope this makes sense. Thanks!

I just graduated dental school and have just began working this week.

We submitted our i130 petition last week. So when my spouse goes to the interview stage down the road, we will need a joint sponsor as I will not have my 3 years of tax return correct?

I have no issue with the joint sponsor part but just wondering. She lives in the UK and Im a US citizen.

Hi everyone! I am aware some embassies give out interview dates but for those where we schedule our own interview (UK for example), do we think all approved cases will be shipped from NVC at once or month by month to allow those who were approved in March to interview before those approved in September? Or do we think it will be a mad rush first come first served thing?
