Hi everyone I know that you are supposed to submit a Letter of intent to marry for the I-129F petition. I was just curious to know if you have to actually submit two separate ones. Me and My fiance are not able to be in the same place to do that. So what I have done is I typed one out and Signed it my self and got him to Electronically sign it and printed it. Would that be okay? Any Input on that would be great. Thank you!!

Hi everyone, we had our interview today and my husband was approved! We thought there was a fee to pay at the embassy for the green card but the consular officer said we had no fees to pay ... was this included in our fees we paid on CEAC? Very confused..

Hello friends! Getting straight to the point, I remember reading something about this but I do not seem to find any mention of it at the moment.

I am here on a K-1 visa, set to expire July 2nd. We have already met the requirement and have married May 14th, however I seem to be slightly confused on when it is still alright to apply for the AOS. Will it cause us issues if we were to apply for it past July 2nd or are we supposed to apply before the visa itself is set to expire?

I am wondering what is going on with the AP times. In the timelines I see a lot of mixed months for Chicago National Office. Between Oct 18 - Feb 19 and even a March 19.

I am a early March filer and have an event that I will need to attend in mid-August that s overseas. Do you think I will receive the AP by then?

Hey guys so my RFE notice is March 11 and they gave me 87 days to respond.

The exact act wording is:

You must send the requested information by mail to the address shown below within 87 days.

You must submit all of the requested evidence at one time. If you submit only part of the evidence, we will make a decision based on the evidence that you submit. We will not consider any evidence that is submitted after the due date. If you do not respond to this request by the date shown above, we will deny your case.

The thing is I ve had some intense struggles and didn t get to complete the documents until now. The problem is, the package is shipped within the 87 days but will arrive 1 day late... technically the evidence is submitted prior to the due date, so should it be fine? I read a lot of people saying about a 3 days grace period. Is this true? Or am I as good as denied now?

Also when you count the 87 days do you start from March 11 or 12?
