I'd like to visit for about 3 weeks but I don't want to file it entirely as leave. I have visited thrice before but never got asked about my leave letter from work. But IF, for this visit, I get asked by the CBP officer about my leave and he/she looks at my return date, he/she would note that there is a gap on the dates. Would there be an issue if I say I'm WFH on that gap?

Hello all ! I had my Aos interview last November 4 2020 and the IO was not satisfied with our docs so, she asked for another interview which will be one by one with camera recording. We already finished our second interview last Dec.18,2020. She said she will give the decision in 4 to 5 days but until now still the status of my case is "interviewed is completed but case must be reviewed ". Anyone with the same case...how long it will be and it is safer to file renewal of my ead now or I need to wait for the decision? Tia !

I m asking him for the ffg.: - Tax transcripts (3 years) - W2 form (3 years) - Form 1040 (3 years) He mentioned that he files a combined income tax w/ his wife. Will this be okay?

Yes this belongs in the Philippines thread, as my fianc /Wife is Filipina living in the Philippines. It's the first time either one of us had ever been to Costa Rica. Why Costa Rica? Well it's on a very short list of countries that at this time will concurrently accept both US and Philippine travelers, and has extremely easy requirements for the marriage of non-resident foreigners. Plus Costa Rica is just a really awesome county for a honeymoon. So in the midst of all this madness my fianc /Wife and I managed to get married in Costa Rica 2 weeks ago. So 2020 wasn't all bad . Government offices in Costa Rica are shut for the holidays so I'm told it will likely be late January to get the official certified marriage certificate and then we will file an I-130 and hopefully 2021 (Ok, probably 2022 ) will be even better. Scratch the K-1 idea, CR--1 will hopefully be a better choice for us. If anyone is trying to pull off a marriage, to a Filipina or probably many other nationalities, in the middle of all of this chaos and facing challenges due to travel bans and such, Costa Rica is an easy and good choice.

I'm sure this has been asked many times but I am not sure what it will mean for me. I went to visit my girlfriend who is now my fianc e in the Philippines for 2 weeks back in July of 2019. My k1 visa petition is still at the nvc along with many others. July of 2021 will have been 2 years since I have been able to visit her. I would have gone earlier this past year but of course the covid 19 epidemic kept that from happening. My question is if nothing is able to be done through no fault of my own, will I have to file a new petition or does the US embassy in the philippines waive that issue because of the pandemic? My petition has been at the nvc since around mid June of this year and of course everyone knows the story there. I just wonder if I will have to refile the petition or not worry about it.
