Hi!
i recently received 2 email from from nvc that states The National Visa Center (NVC) updated the status of your immigrant visa application. Please go to the Department of State's Consular Electronic Application Center (CEAC) at https://ceac.state.gov/IV. You will need your NVC case number and invoice ID number to log into your account. but everytime i log-in and check, there is no changes or any messages. Is this normal?

I-485 Interview / new I-864 Co-Sponsor inquiry

My wife and I got our interview date scheduled already, earlier than we were expecting but since filing covid assisted in my employer shutting down my location and was laid-off. Have had a hard time finding work in my area that paid close to what I was getting and enough to meet USCIS requirements for my family of 5. So my mother who is single makes enough on her retirement to meet the requirements for the 2 of them (her and my wife) and agreed to co-sponsor. I am going drive down to Florida for to get her stuff and fill out another 864 with my mother, so do I just take this to the interview with us and give it to them to replace mine? And also is that correct that the sponsor only has to make enough for her (household of 1) and my wife and not my entire household? Or will we be denied because i got laid-off and while can easily find work just not at near same high pay as before? And even laid-off supporting 5 are not on welfare nor will be as I still get unemployment pay and my immigrant wife started working as well. Thank you in advance. Almost forgot - as for interview while she added to utilities they still only come in my name and only things in both our names mail is our bank accounts is that ok. Even our credit card bill comes in my name as it did before I added her to it.

This is getting crazier. https://www.pna.gov.ph/articles/1127461

"Filipinos from areas covered by the travel restrictions were initially allowed to come home, on condition that they undergo an absolute facility-based 14-day quarantine, notwithstanding a negative reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) test result.

However, the IATF-EID Resolution issued on Thursday states that the temporary travel ban is applicable to all travelers coming from or transiting through the banned countries."

Hello, N400 Part 12, Question 7A asks if I have ever failed to file tax returns since becoming a lawful permanent resident. I answered "NO" as I understood this as failing to file when required which I never did. I came in October 2015 and did not start working until February 2016. I was claimed by my dad as a dependent on his 2015 tax returns and in 2019 I was a full-time student, not making any income. Upon doing research and learning from other's experiences, I'm afraid I might have answered the question incorrectly. In an attempt to correct this mistake, I sent my 1040 tax return forms for 2015 and 2019 to the IRS (I owe $0) as well as New York State (turns out I owe them and immediately settled it by card payment which would mean I answered Part 12, Question 6 if I owe taxes incorrectly at the time of filing) last week. When the time of my interview comes and I have the tax return transcripts for tax years 2015 and 2019 as well as a letter stating that I paid my taxes from the state, my answers on the form would be correct. Should I tell the officer that I filed my tax returns and made the corrections after filing? Will this be ok? Thank you!
