I just went through the visa process and almost and about to have it when my ex husband whose employer made the petition told me to not use my visa whenit comes. He said he just wants my kids to be with him, the kids are both minors. Now that I have withrawn my application and have my documents back, he is blaming me of my kids application being withrawn too. My kids prefer to stay with me as he left us for his american dream 8yrs ago. I want him to stop bothering us and threatening me. I want to sue him with domestic and child abuse for deliberately forcing the kids to be with him. How can I get in touch with a family lawyer in Tennessee and also able to file and make his employer aware of it?

I now have my SSN which I applied for separately at our local office. Thing is, I never expected it to arrive so soon after reading all the delay stories these past months with SSA, so when I filled out and sent my i765, I ticked yes on the part asking if I want an SSN through EAD. Will this cause any issues or delays on my EAD/AOS? i have to note too that I applied at SSA with my maiden name even if I am already married. So my socials card has my maiden name on it. Will USCIS issue a replacement card bearing my married name?

I get that officially, I am filing the 130 for her and she's the one filing the 485 but the reality is that we are both filing both. When I got the 130 receipt I set up an account to access it but when I got the 485 receipt I couldn't add it to my account and had to set her up with one using her email for that. So now I have to log in twice to check for any action which is a PITA. I have a filter on her gmail so if she gets something from USCIS it kicks over to my gmail so I don't have to ask her what the 2step code is but it's still annoying. Is there any way to bring the 2 accounts together or add one case to the other account? Is there maybe some form she can sign so they will talk to me about the 485 at least? They really would rather you use the online system rather than calling or chatting but this makes it a pain.

Anyone doing the same? I know we have to submit new DS260, Pay fee again, doing medical again. It took them awhile to reopen DS Form so I can resubmit it, now i have to figure out when I can submit the payment online since its not open. Please share any experience. The process in getting medical where I don't have invitation letter. And by the way, the expired visa is over a year. Thank you so much y'all.

During the processing of our K1 Visa in the Philippines my wife had to undergo three test for TB. The first time St. Lukes claimed she had the mysterious white line on her lungs caused us to get caught up in the approaching Covid crisis when they put her in the culture testing protocol. She was of course negative. This caused us to not having enough time to get out of the country. Then the Embassy allowed the medical to expire and once again St. Lukes made her go through the entire Sputum protocol even though she was negative. Protest lead to another test and more time wasted on the culture requirements. The final straw came when in November 2020 the Embassy three days after receiving the latest results from St. Lukes told my wife she had to get another physical. I called time out and went to my Senator to intervene. After the visa was issued we thought we were done with St. Lukes but much to our shock we were contacted by the Texas State Health Commission in January 2021, and told that due to the failed TB testing in the Philippines my wife have to be tested again. Part of this process required being isolated until the test was completed. On the 22nd of March we were notified that my wife was negative for TB, just as she had been the previous three times. St. Lukes has stolen over 6 months of our lives with the testing game as well as costing us over $1600.00. Were we retaliated against by St. Lukes for actively protesting the TB testing, who knows. We can only hope that this NIGHTMARE is finally behind us.
