I have requested a Good Conduct Certificate from Bahrain Consulate Manila last October 20,2020. They told me to follow up after 3mos. I have tried contacted them via phone call beginning of February 2021. They told me, still on process and will be delayed due to Covid. I have waited until April 2021 but unfortunately my K1 visa got expedited and I will have to undergo interview in June 4, 2021. Unfortunately, I have followed up the Bahrain Consulate Manila, 3days ago and they replied that the Honorary Consulate has been officially closed since April 06,2021 and all follow- ups shall be done in Honorary Consulate in Bangkok, Thailand. I have emailed Bangkok consulate but no reply. What shall i do? My interview is upcoming and i dont think Ill be able to get the Certification now . Please help out.

Hello everyone, once again I'm here seeking for advice.

So I'm a US citizen and Ill like to fill a I-130 for my mother.
I already started the application, uploaded my Naturalization card and my birth certificate (Spanish and English translation)
Now on the application showed me space for additional evidence.
Do I need this additional evidence or i can just keep filling the application?

Reason to request expedite on I-765?

Does there need to be any reason more than, "I need a job/money." Is a job offer required? Is proof of a job offer required? Seems like submitting the I-765 would be proof of the need for a job but I don't know.

Health Alert: Cancellation of Notarial Appointments Scheduled in May

In response to the recent increase in COVID-19 cases and the ongoing travel and movement restrictions throughout the country, the U.S. Embassy and Consular Agency in the Philippines have cancelled all notarial appointments scheduled for May 1, 2021, through May 31, 2021.

If you need a document notarized urgently, we encourage you to use one of the alternative options listed on our website. Keep in mind that the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) accepts local notarization of Affidavits of Legal Capacity to Contract Marriage. If you are planning to marry in the Philippines, your affidavit does not need to be notarized at the Embassy or Consular Agency. Please visit our notary page for more information.

Passport, citizenship, and emergency services for U.S. citizens remain available in both Manila and Cebu. Passport and citizenship appointments already scheduled for the month of May are not affected at this time.

There may be delays in our ability to answer routine emails and phone calls. We appreciate your patience as we continue to enforce social distancing and other requirements designed to slow the spread of COVID-19.

Hi guys! I am new here, so I am sorry if I am not submitting this post correctly.

My petition for my mom has been approved and I am currently at the NVC stage. We need to upload Civil Documents and since she lived in Hong Kong, we need to submit a police certificate from there. Has anyone here ever went through the process of obtaining a police certificate from Hong Kong (while you were in the Philippines). I saw a thread here from 2008, but that did not have any update.

One of the requirements from the HK Consul is a request letter (I am assuming from NVC) stating that the police clearance is needed. How do you get this? Do you request it specifically from NVC or US embassy in Manila?

I appreciate any help you guys can offer!
