Travel to Philippines with Visa & Entry Exemption.

The rules say that it is doable. But the word given down to the Consulate's is that foreigners are not allowed without an exemption AND the reason for the exemption must be urgent or essential. Here is the exact wording:

Pursuant to the Philippine Bureau of Immigration's latest Travel Advisory, all foreign nationals are still prohibited from entering the Philippines, except for those who are exempted pursuant to the latest directives of the Office of the President and/or resolution by the Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID).
Foreign nationals who wish to be reunited with their Filipino families may seek an endorsement for the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) entry exemption (EE) if you feel that your situation warrants urgent and essential travel.
I just filed for mine and it was 17 pages of documents that I had to send. If you want more information and the requirements for this elusive exemption you can PM me . I will update people once I get approved or denied. This is at the end of what they sent me.
Should we find your request valid, we will endorse your request to DFA. Please note that there is no guarantee on the approval of the issuance of an entry exemption.
First you need to satisfy the Consulate and then they will forward it along to the DFA who may still deny you.

Greetings, Journey Folks--

I cannot find an answer to this, so I'm asking you.

Three (3) stepchildren. Three (3) "Case Approved" on their I-130. Two (2) were sent to the NVC.

Missing NVC kid is not the only boy, not the youngest/oldest/shortest/tallest. We received two (2) envelopes today in the mail.

ALL THREE (3) cases were approved, but only two sent off.

Any ideas? Because I'm fresh out on this one.

Thank you in advance for your experiences & expertise!

LG

Can anyone advise me on my situation please..My US petition was approved since June 1,2019 under IR-5 category. But due to other circumstances, I was not ready to migrate to the US so I rescheduled my appointment 3-4 times. Then pandemic came and Phil US Embassy is not accepting appointments at the moment. My questions, is my petition still valid even if I didnt appear on my last appointment? I have no intention to live in the US for good, is it possible to apply
for a tourist visa even if I already have an approved petition? Is that a reason for visa denial if in case I just want to apply for a tourist visa rather than going through with my petition..the only reason I want to go to the US is to visit my daughter and her family every once in awhile.
Thank you for your replies.

My wife wants to file for her parents, she's a dual US & Philippines citizen. We're currently living in the Philippines but plan on going back to the US next April for a while and bringing her parents with us, they currently have a 10 year multiple entry visitor visa. We're beginning to gather all the required documents while we're still in the Philippines but are wondering which would be better, apply here before we leave or after we arrive in the US?

Hi! I just wanted to know if the sponsor (household member) has filed for extension for income tax return for 2020, aside from a letter of explanation, what kind of proof should be attached to show to the consular officer during interview? Is it the Form 4868? Would the letter of explanation suffice and last year s tax return?

Thank you in advance to those who will respond.
