US Immigration from Philippines

I'm guessing this question has been asked several times but I haven't paid any attention to the answers. My k1 petition, like many others, is still waiting for the embassy in the philippines to get the interview date. That matter aside, does the nvc contact the beneficiary or does the Manila embassy do that? Do either of them need her email address or mailing address? I do remember putting her address on the paperwork but I don't recall putting her email on anything. So I'm wondering when she is supposed to be contacted and how?

Can I file for US Citizenship while I await my I-751 form? It has been processing for about 1 year now and I am still waiting on my conditions to be removed for my 10 year green card. I only have my 2 year expired green card with my 18 month extension letter. In less then a month though will be my third anniversary of becoming a permanent resident here from a K1 Visa. So it says after your third anniversary I can apply. But wanted to make sure I could do so since my I-751 is still pending...Thanks.

Is anyone else concerned that when Biden mandates full vaccination for travel to US only US-approved vaccines will count and the most common vaccine given in the Philippines (Sinovac) won't be accepted?

Hello! I met my wife in the Philippines and we have lived together in the USA since 2011 or so. Before covid her mom was coming for a few months at a time to help with kids. Filipino passport had a 5 year expiration! Last week she received a new passport (they are now good for 10 years!). Here is the question: the new passport doesn t have a visa. Our tourist visas are good for 10 years! Does the new passport need to have the visa? The Internet says that they just travel with both passports(expired and new). It would be nice nice to know for sure.

We filed K1 in December 2019 and received NOA2 in June of 2020. We are currently stuck at NVC along with thousands of others. We are also litigants of a mandamus Ramirez vs Blinken.

We are exhausted from this wait and it's causing undue stress and strain on our relationship. Especially for my fianc e's two young children who don't understand why "Daddy" isn't coming back or they can't see him.

Looking at the statistics USCIS puts out each month, Manila is processing nearly twice as many CR1 cases as K1. Has anyone canceled their K1 petition, gotten married (virtually) met in person for consummation purposes and then filed for CR1? Where we are already nearly two years into this, We'd hate to abondon just to find out that our case would have been transferred to USEM a few weeks or months later. Yet we are afraid that the current situation will lead us years into the future before anything happens.

What are the repercussions if any for canceling the K1 and filing CR1? Would we most likely end up getting an RFE or are there other problems that may arise?
