Dear Mr.
We are writing in response to your August 18, 2021 inquiry regarding the fiancee (K-1) visa case of Ms. o.
Our records show that the applicants did not appear for their scheduled visa appointments on August 12, 2021.
Ms. case has been queued again for scheduling. Our limited operations and volume of other priority cases preclude us from guaranteeing an immediate appointment for the applicants. You will be notified through the registered email address as soon as we are able to schedule you for an appointment.

Routine visa services remain suspended at this time due to precautions and limited resources related to the COVID-19 pandemic. We recently updated our website to clarify visa services that are currently operational. As conditions surrounding the COVID-19 situation improve, the Embassy will add additional services, culminating eventually in a complete resumption of routine visa services. Conversely, if local conditions continue to deteriorate, visa services may be further restricted. The Embassy cannot predict when the resumption of full visa services or a specific set of visa cases will resume.

We suggest that you continue monitoring our website at https://ph.usembassy.gov/visas/visa-updates/ or contact the Embassy s Visa Information and Appointment Service at (+632) 8548-8223 or (+632) 7792-8988 regarding visa operations updates.

We hope this information is helpful.

Sincerely,

CONSULAR COMMUNICATIONS GROUP

Significant increase in K1 visa processing at USEM in July

This has already been suspected, but the July numbers have recently come out for K1 processing in July at USEM. That number was 149 vs 49 for June 2021. It is still way off from the pre-Covid time of 500-600/month but I believe this is the first month since March 2020 that was over 60 or so. People in July were reporting getting interviews but the numbers are now out to substantiate that.
