US Immigration from Philippines

Just want to consult before booking our flight.

Got my greencard and Im planning to visit home for urgent reasons (PI)

the thing is, I haven t had to chance to update my passport due to lack of appointments in DC. (No available passport schedule as of the moment and been trying to schedule it for quite sometime now but I always end up with no spot available for the month)

My question is, Can I travel abroad using my green card (with my new last name) and passport (with my old last name)??

I often see on this and other immigration forums where people are having difficulty getting ready for their interview and having to get their I-693 done in time. I can understand wanting to get the I-485 into the system ASAP so not waiting for the I-693. But after the I-485 is mailed, you have (many) months before the interview to get the I-693 done. Mine sat in the glove box of my car for 8 months before the interview.

One of our good friends, a girl from the Philippines just received her letter for her interview. They are sending her to Albany NY for it. We're puzzled. She has done everything through the St. Albans Vt. office and now she has to go way downstate. She live in Malone NY, 185 miles from this office in Albany. The St. Albans office in Vermont (where my wife went for all of her immigration stuff) is only 75 miles away. A lot closer. Is there some reason they would have done this? Can it be changed? Is the Vermont office closed or something? This girl friend even went to Vt. for her bios too. Has anyone heard anything about this office, because I can't find anything on it, much less any closure. it was always busier than hell too.

I filled I-130 & I-485 on July 2021 for my mother and father who overstayed their tourist visa. My mother received a notification that a notice is sent out for the schedule of the date of interview. What are the documents that we need to bring during the interview? What are the questions commonly asked? Thank you.

After 2 years since i485 filing, we got an interview date for next month. But a lot has happen in the past 2 years. We moved and husband (USC) got a different job. We also welcomed twins so we're now a family of 4. I was wondering if it's allowed to bring updated i864 or a different joint sponsor from what I submitted before?
