I already know the answer but I thought I would ask anyway and take time to vent. My wife filed for ROC. Paid the biometrics fee and biometrics was waived. however, with the long processing time my wife now wants to file for citizenship. I guess we will have to kick in another $85 for biometrics that won't be taken. Anyway, my question is since the ROC biometrics were waived and ROC pending, does she still have to pay biometrics with N-400? I know the answer is yes but in the end we will have paid 3 times for biometrics that were taken only once. And this isn't a money grab.

Hello, My fiancee just received the packet 3 from the Hong Kong consulate. I noticed that on the bottom of the P3 cover letter that my fiancee (beneficiary) and her children are listed as travelers. They even gave the children their own "A" number. However, her children are not traveling with her to live in the United States at this time. So, my questions are as follows: 1) Is this a normal practice to include the entire family on the K1 paperwork? 2) Do I need to email the consulate ahead of time to let them know the children are not coming? 3) Or should my fiance just inform them when scheduling her interview or during her interview? Thanks in advance for your help with these questions.

Hi all! I need some advice. My mother finally got an interview date (11/09/2021). We were DQd in June 2020 but due to the pandemic interview dates were all delayed. Now her police clearance is expired (they were only good for one year). Does she need to get another one before her visa interview?

Hi everybody. I hope you can help me with a little confusion that has just popped up. On the home page for VJ there is a list of current processing times, including the NVC. It shows something like 9 months, but this thread is saying that it's about 80 days. That's quite a discrepancy and I really like the 80 days vs 9 months. Am I missing something? Thanks.
