US Immigration from Philippines

Hello everyone,

Im just wondering if i can apply for citizenship after i stayed in Philippines for 2 months vacation. I have 10year greencard already and residence since 2018 i want to file under 3 year rule "married"

My mother in-law is 82 years old and trying to apply for a US tourist visa from the Philippines. She has completed and submitted her DS-160 form but unsure about the next step.

According to this page, https://www.ustraveldocs.com/ph/ph-niv-below14andover79.asp and this page https://ustraveldocs.com/ph/ph-niv-visarenew.asp, it appears people under 14 or over 79 are special cases and may be eligible for an interview waiver.

I thought that her age would automatically exempt her from an interview, but I emailed the visa services just to make sure. Unfortunately they replied with the same information that's on the website, indicating that you have to already have a B2 visa you wish to renew. Note that on the page, https://ustraveldocs.com/ph/ph-niv-visarenew.asp, it lists the interview waiver eligibility criteria, and then immediately after it says "***For applicants under the age of 14 and over 79 years of age should check here." But then simply links back to the first link above.

My in-law has never held a visa before, in fact she has never left the Philippines in her life and she just recently got her visa first passport.

Can anyone help clarify what is the next step? Does she need to schedule an appointment still? Thanks.

Fianc e arrived today at LAX along with two children. None of them have an attached I94 to their passport. Where do we find it?

My better half had her interview om 02-24-22 and the lady Consulate said she was approved !!!

She said the Consulate was very friendly and asked just the basic questions except for one,

She asked how many rooms were in my house.

26 months from 129F to approved, a very long time but well worth it.

IT would not have been possible without all the fine people here on VJ.

Hello everyone . I applied for ROC for my conditional green card last January 2021 through joint application with my husband. Unfortunately, our marriage went downhill and we got separated August 2021 then we filed a divorce December 2021 and got our final divorce decree February 22,2022. My question is I am going to have my interview this March 2022 and I am worried because we applied jointly. Is it really okay that I will just tell the IO that I will switch my application into a divorce waiver in good faith marriage on the day of my interview or should I inform USCIS by sending a letter and my final decree ? Please give some advice. Thank you.
