Good evening all,

My wife and daughter (the filipino-americans) and me (just american) are headed to the Philippines in September, and while I know things can change on a dime, currently, does anyone have any experience using the proctored tests such as optum for headed to the Philippines? I'm very aware for the way back, PAL will only take a test administered in the Philippines, but for the way there, through LAX, was hoping to use a proctored test where you video call a nurse to watch you and read the results. Flying from South Texas to LAX in the evening before our PAL flight, spending the night in a hilton near LAX then flying out noon the following afternoon, so we could hypothetically do a test at the TBIT in the morning, but that seems cutting it close.

Is this really needed or required when I travel there? If so, where's the best to buy it?

Thanks!

The requirement for a Naturalized USC to need a CENOMAR is they must of lived in the Philippines for one year or more after age 18. < If you fit that and the embassy didn't catch it .. no big deal, it is their option to ask or not ask for any documents.

Question regarding this.

If the petitioner was born in the US but lived here for 1 year after 18... do I still need to get his CENOMAR? Thanks.

I'm sure I have better things to do, but here it is anyway.. :)

I think I don't like trend lines anymore...
