Hello everyone. First, THANK YOU to anyone who can offer advice.

I just received the email from NVC that they're sending our case to Manila embassy. CEAC website says our case is "IN TRANSIT".

What are the next steps? I feel like we should be rushing to do a bunch of stuff right now. Will CEAC case status say something different when they receive it? How long?

To top this off, I'll be in the Philippines with my fiancee May 8 through June 5. Is there any chance we can schedule the medical, interview during this time frame so we can do it together?

Finally, is it possible that we get everything done by June 5, and she can fly home with me? How long does CFO take?

Thank you everyone!!!

What kinds of Evidence for Stepchild on I-130

Hello, I ve reviewed the General instructions for evidence of the I-130 and it mainly asks for marriage to the mother info, birth certificate of the child and maybe one other item. If anyone has done this, is photos together, a lease with the mother and financial support enough of evidence to satisfy the USCIS requirements for filing? Also, I have divorce, death certs. Is anything else required as far as evidence for this I-130? I will be submitting it online after the 130 and 130a for his mother.

Unable to change delivery address

My fiancee in the Philippines has already provided the necessary documents that were asked of her following her k1 visa interview. Here is the thing. She wants the visa packet to be delivered to her province after it is hopefully approved. I have attempted to change the delivery address but it can't be done, at least not that I can see. I then read where the delivery address has to be changed before the interview. After the interview the delivery address is locked. Is there a way to work around this or will she just have to grin and bear it so to speak? I booked her interview and I didn't think about asking her where she wanted the visa packet to be delivered. There was a free delivery option so I just choose that one. Is there any way to change this or will she have to go to where it will be delivered from when I scheduled the interview? I can't change it on the website and it won't let me. Her visa hasn't been issued yet but once again the interview has been done. Just wondering if there is a very to get around this.

By reading this graph courtesy from VJ. Manila consulate has issuing 500 K1 visa a month on average pre covid. During covid Manila consulate only issuing 50/month for the next 24 months.

Is this mean Manila consulate has a backlog of about 450/month and they e only issuing 50/month, and for 24 months? If you do the math, its a total of 10,800 potential souls awaiting for an interview for their K1 visa. Its going to take them at least 2 years to catch up.

Does anyone know if Manila consulate doing something to compensate for this? Anyone here has a Kumpadre or Kumadre in Manila embassy? Pwede ho bang malaman?

I just recieved my NOA1 on March 31, 2022. Is there any other route besides K1?

Good and bad comments are welcome.
