US Immigration from Philippines

Good day VJs, I have a question regarding "Information about your Current Marriage" in the Form I-485.

I am the beneficiary and was on a K1 visa, and I am now married to my USC Spouse. My question is in the Current Spouse's Legal Name tab, do I put my Wife's married name ( we just got married) or her maiden name?

We are about to start the process for K1 and K2 visas but I received new information from a friend who migrated to Singapore years ago. Her annulment was granted and full custody was given to her with visitation rights given to the biological dad. When she tried to bring her son to Singapore, she was required to get consent from the dad even if she had full custody. She had a hard time because her ex wasn't cooperative.. My annulment decree says that I have ABSOLUTE custody of my kids and my ex is given visitation rights. Will I need to secure a parental consent for my children or will that be sufficient since I was given absolute custody? I have read a lot of information on this here but what my friend told me about her experience just worries me so I want to make sure. Thanks in advance.

Thanks again for the replies to my earlier post about a reverse visa for me. We are still 18 months away, but we are beginning to plan the big move for the end of 2013/start of 2014. We are not bringing much with us, but more than a few balikbayan boxes, so I am looking for freight companies to get some idea of shipping costs (it might sound silly, but I have a pair of 40 year old studio monitors/stereo speakers that have been with me for 40 years from NY to LA to Honolulu and I want to keep them--they were a gift from my parents back in the day and are a big part of my adult life--besides, they still sound awesome!). We will also have a few personal items like some statuettes from my mom's house. We are not planning on bringing any furniture or TVs, but I might add my stereo with the speakers--and perhaps my computer because we are now looking at 2023/24 and not 2024/25. Point is, we will have too much to bring with us (especially because we are bringing our cat!) Sorry, long winded intro, here's the question: Does anyone know of a company that offers ocean cargo services from Honolulu to Manila where I can actually get some prices? I have searched online for weeks to no avail ("instant" online quotes, emails, phone calls, you name it!) Any ideas? I get shut down as soon as they learn it is a personal cargo and not a business--even though I am clear about that from the start!

Hello! I've tried looking for answers to this question here and in other groups but kept getting different answers. Hoping someone who has traveled recently can share their experience.

I will be traveling back to my home country next week with my combo card (EAD/AP). I'm trying to put in our passport information for online check-in and the Asiana airlines website is asking for my country of residence. Is it my home country, or USA?

Also, when I tried clicking on USA as my country of residence, it's asking for a Permanent Residency number. IF I should choose USA as my country of residence, what do I put as my Permanent Residency number - is it my Alien registration number, or combo card number?

I also tried calling the airline's hotline but couldn't get through, probably due to the peak travel period.
