Father in Law finally got his IR5, only took 1218 days! Filed July 2019, Nebraska delays, Covid, IR5 pause, Three expedite requests, Sputum, Multiple RFE's (including a blank one that took six weeks to get an answer), for different middle names (sloppy philippines paperwork), expired medical, 2 month wait for new HCN, another Sputum (really?) and finally issued! Good thing CFO PDOS was only a one day wait. He arrives Friday finally, but we leave 10 days later for an 8 week Philippines vacation......hope he enjoys the dog and the house All that are waiting, just hang in there, eventually it happens.... Clock still churning for MIL as she went through TB treatment and once again another Sputum during next medical, so maybe Feb-Mar and she'll be here.

Hi all, I ve searched the USCIS site, Google, and the VJ forums and didn t find an answer that made sense to me. It s probably me and the way my brain works. So, I m just looking for some clarification: On my USCIS online case profile, where they give the estimated time until case decision: Is this the time until the NVC and USCIS complete the case review and forwards the case to the appropriate embassy for the remaining process, such as biometrics and final interview? VJ estimate case adjudication as July to August 2023. Case decision and adjudication confuse me. I m assuming case decision is USCIS accepting the case for further review and adjudication is the final decision after the final interview? I can t imagine USCIS is including embassy processing times in their case decision, but I m getting conflicting answers depending on where I look for answers. Of course I m eager for the day my wife can move here, but we re fine with me going to see her every few months until that can happen, assuming it can happen. I m going to see her from December to January, and now I m just trying to decide whether I should purchase a plane ticket for the summer or wait (her estimated case decision says 9 months), which is spring. VJ estimates case adjudication as July 2023 to August 2023. Does anyone have any insight to share on what case decision and adjudication each actually mean?

Hi, I am just wondering if anyone knows here. So We moved back from Dallas, TX to North Carolina early this year and I updated my address to the uscis website about my change of address. I wonder where my Case Service Center this time. I filled my removing of condition last year Oct 2021 for my residency and I got the extension letter as well a week after. I'ts been a year since I filed and that was in Texas Service center. Anyone have any idea for east side of the US which service center ? I keep calling USCIS customer support and I get no luck for real person to answer.

Hello everyone! I hope you're all doing great. By the way, I'm a 20-year-old Filipina, turning 21 this December. We are just in the first step of our K-1 visa process. We are curious if I need to give a copy of my Cenomar to my fiancee for our initial packet or if we only need it for the interview and for the CFO. Thanks for the response. It will be much appreciated.

So a few weeks ago my IR-5 cases were moved over from NVC to US Embassy Manila by way of expedite. Last week I made an inquiry to the immigrant visa unit regarding my parents schedule and I was directed to make an appointment using the UsTraveldocs website. Since then I have checked ever hour of every day and it says the same thing, No available appointments. Should I have just waited for NVC to schedule their appointment instead of expediting? According to the call center agent for US visa information and scheduling they re only opening up a certain number of IR-5 interview slots at a time. Should this be a cause for worry? I feel like I should have just bit the bullet and waited the 2-3 months after I was DQ d for NVC to schedule the appointments.
