Hey guys. My wife has her 10 year greencard and we have decided to visit her family in the Philippines, where her passport is from, this summer. I found a great ticket that connects in incheon korea.

I checked the Korean embassy website, called, but no answers no help.

Does she need a special visa to transfer in Korea on the way to Manila and back? Thanks

Good Afternoon Sports Fans. Aiza, my wife, received this email about 30 minutes ago. Is this the "Welcome Letter?" We haven't been able to ungarble the mess. What should we do?

Thanks in advance.

Are I-130 for spouse and K3 always processed in the same service centers?

My husband and I filed I-130 for me and about 40 days later we filed I-129F for K3. The receipt we got for the I-130 said it s at the Nebraska Service Center. Meanwhile, the receipt we got for the I-129F shows that it s at the Texas Service Center (SRC are the first letters of the receipt #). My question now is this: does this mean that our filing is transferred from Nebraska to Texas? Are these two filings always processed at the same service center? I ask because according to USCIS website, different service centers have different process timelines and it seems Texas is one of the slowest ones.

Hello everyone, I truly appreciate any advice or inputs that you may have regarding my case. Here s my timeline.

GC Received: July 2013

Traveled Overseas: Jul 4, 2016 Aug 10, 2017 (403 days)

Came back to the US: Aug 11, 2017 Aug 17, 2017 (7days)

*Filed an I-193 at the port of entry and granted entry as an LPR by the IO. I was not able to show a re-entry permit as I did not expect to be gone that long. Showed to the IO evidence about my ties in the US (tax returns, bank statements, physical address and mailing address)

Traveled Overseas:

- Aug 17, 2017 Feb 06, 2018 (173 days)

- Jul 04, 2018 Sep 08, 2018 (66 days)

- Nov 06, 2019 Dec 24, 2019 (48 days)

- Jan 11, 2020 Feb 12, 2020 (32 days)

*All of these travels were work and medical related.

I never traveled overseas since Feb 12, 2020 until present. I will be applying for naturalization based on the 3-year rule next month (Feb 2023). My concern now is when USCIS will review my entire immigration file. They might consider abandonment of LPR status (Jul 2016-Aug 2017 Trip) and possibly be placed for removal proceedings, even if I successfully achieved my required statutory period preceding the naturalization process.

Is it wise to apply for naturalization and take my chances? or be a LPR forever? What are my chances of being denied but still keep my LPR status? Or risk of being removed or deported?

Airlines to choose when waiting for removal of conditions

Hello,

I read somewhere here that some airlines do not know of the paper that extends the legality of the 2 year green card holder. We filed back in Feb of 2022 for removal of condition, as of today it just shows finger prints accepted. What airlines should we stay out of when going home to PHILIPPINES to avoid issues with customs and when it comes to just have the temp GC with the paper confirmation of 2 years extension? Thank you!
