Hello Fellow Journey Folks,

I just wanted to start a new thread on Pending I-751 Transferred to NBC After Passing N-400 Interview, so other people in the same situation can find this resource specific to a "pending I-751 but was interviewed for N-400 and passed the N-400 interview", and issued a Form-N-652 with check marks on:

a.) "you passed the English test and the US history and government test...."

b.) "congratulations, your application has been recommended for approval..."

Please share your experience about:

1. Were you required to appear again for an interview at your local USCIS office to adjudicate the ROC?

2. How long did it take for NBC to come back to you from the time of notice that your I-751 was transferred to NBC?

3. If NBC waived an ROC interview, how long did it take them to return to you for the pending I-751 approval?

4. If NBC waived an ROC interview, how long did it take them to send you an oath taking ceremony?

Timeline/Info:

July 2021 - Filed I-751 by mail, paper application

July 2022 - Filed N-400 Online

November 2022 - N-400 Interview

December 2022 - I-751 NOA File transferred to NBC "in order to speed up processing", case receipt number unchanged from previous processing center Nebraska

Local Office: Tukwila, WA

Would appreciate your input.

Cheers

My mom's I30 is approved. We are just waiting for her interview date in Manila embassy.

She has criminal background. She was convicted 7 years ago. she was in jail for 2 years and was released. but she was convicted.

I know this is a ground for inadmission. I wonder if there are any here who had the same situation and was able to bring their loved ones in USA.

DS-160 Expiring - How do I associate the new DS-160 to the old MVR payment?

Good day,

My mother applied for a tourist visa in December 2021. Unfortunately, due to backlog, her interview is not until January 2023.

Based on the site https://ph.usembassy.gov/important-visa-information/#interview she needs a current DS-160 form within a year. Since there was a backlog with interviews, does she needs to fill out a new DS-160?
Per this site, https://ph.usembassy.gov/visa-update-consular-operations-visas-as-of-june-2022/ the MVR is extended until September 2023.
Questions:
1. Does she needs to fill out the DS-160 again?
2. If she does, how can she associate her new DS-160 with her MVR?
3. We are asking because the last time we help her apply, after submitting the DS-160, the system asked for payment and the form will only be valid if paid in time and associated to the DS-160 Confirmation id.
I appreciate any help on this one. Have a great day and take care!

PCRTEST and ANTIGEN test Travelling to PH question

Good day VJ!

My husband and I will travel to the Philippines after New Year and we are confused how the pcrtest and antigen test work?

We try to schedule a pcrtest and told us that the result will be in couple of days and I'm afraid we don't have our results until we arrive to our destination and I don't know how the antigen work since there is no record that tells you that we are negative. We are fully vaccinated and had our booster shots a month ago. The pcrtest here takes couple of days for the result and the validity needed is short.

I couldn't find a website that would explain it further if there's any changes to their regulations. I'm sorry if my English is bad explaining my concern but I hope for those who enter the PH what documents they asked?

Thank you.

We filed the I-751 for 10 year green card and are still waiting for an interview date. I saw that the n-400 can filed 3 years if married to a U.S. citizen and can be filed within 90 days. Is the n-400 rejected if it is filed after the 3 year mark or doesn t it matter if it is filed a couple days or weeks after the three year mark?
