So, it's almost 30 days since I passed the N-400 interview and received a Form N-652 which checked "You passed the English test and the U.S. history and government test", and "Congratulations! Your application has been recommended for approval. At this time, it appears you have established your eligibility for naturalization. If final approval is granted, you will be notified when and where to report for your naturalization ceremony". Question 1: Since my I-751 application for removal of conditions (ROC) remains pending, what is your experience about the waiting period for approval of I-751 after N-400 has been passed? Question 2: Any exceptions you know of that may affect final approval of the N-400? My local office is Seattle for the N-400, and my I-751 is with apparently slowpoke Nebraska LIN processing center. I had the impression the N-400 will expedite the processing of I-751 but is it possible that my approval papers are time-locked at Nebraska LIN? Much appreciate any thoughts. Cheers, G&A

I wanted my nephew to witness the ceremony. He s 19 and was born here and disjointed from the immigrant experience. I don t think he understands what it s like for immigrants and thought this might give hime a little insight. Maybe spark some conversations about immigration in general. Anyways, if anyone had their ceremony in Chicago at this building recently, were you allowed to have guests? My parents and all my siblings want to go to but they re ok with staying outside and just celebrating with me afterwards.

Hello, folks. I want to apologize in advance if this has been asked and answered before - tried to do a search but many of the results I got were outdated. We are at the NVC stage and we are in the process of ordering PSA documents - I have been able to successfully request my marriage certificates (amended 1st marriage and current 2nd marriage) to be delivered to my sister (she will help my mom with scanning them for her IR5 visa application). Where I am running into an issue is ordering my birth certificate - the PSA Serbilis website only allows me to make two requests - which I have already exhausted on my MCs. I am about to ask my sister to make a request on PSA for my BC and then send me the reference number so I can pay it online. But before I ask her to do that I wanted to ask folks who have completed the NVC process more recently if the USEM will still accept documents on National Statistics Office (NSO) paper - which I have in spades. I am trying to avoid RFEs. If they will only accept PSA documents then I will go with my original plan. Thanks in advance for your patience.

Hi all, has anyone here ever being asked to have an appraisal done in their house as part of requirements for aos and greencard application? I know over hundreds of immigrants but have never heard of this except from the lawyer of a friend. According to the poverty guidelines you need to make about $34k for a household of 4. My friend has his own business and makes way more than that also have 100k on savings but aside from a bank statement and itr his lawyer advise him to get his house appraised to show equity of his house. Is this really necessary?

Hello it s me again. Just looking for any experience or insight regarding this website and if their service is actually accepted for international travel. On their website, Ph is one of the countries listed that accepts antigen test which is really the case now. I m wondering if it s a good idea to purchase the antigen test kit that comes with a certification. On the etravel website, requirements for unvaccinated travels mentions: 1. Travelers 15 years and older shall present a remotely supervised/laboratory-based Rapid Antigen Test administered and certified by a healthcare professional in a healthcare facility, laboratory, clinic, or other similar establishment taken 24 hours prior to the date and time of departure from country of origin/first port of embarkation in a continuous travel to the Philippines, excluding lay-overs; provided that, he/she has not left the airport premises or has not been admitted into another country during such lay-over. Technically this is a remotely supervised rapid antigen test right? Because a healthcare professional will be with you on videocall while you re administering the test. Any insight will be highly appreciated. Thank you!
