US Immigration from Philippines

Hi, finally got the annulment decree. We are planning to marry May 20th in the Philippines. She has two job offers in the US starting this summer and I have a residence in the Philippines and another in the US. From what I understand the embassy could accept to process our I-130. How do I ask the embassy if they would process our visa?

after DQ, still waiting for further instructions/information, how do you schedule cfo / slec physical? would like to get them out of the way if possible.

CFO: registered, and got an email now which is asking us to send some documents including the visa - should we, in lieu of the actual visa, submit an explanation that our case is heading to the embassy now and hope that will suffice? i've seen it said multiple times that some people have gotten the cfo done prior to visa on hand but not sure how to get around the visa document requirement.

SLEC: seems to let us register and book an appointment, but again, no visa on hand. don't want to get to manila just to be turned away by the guard...website says visa is a required document too...

Hi my i130 for my wife abroad has just been approved. I am currently at the NVC stage and am about to start the affidavit of support. Should I upload my tax return for the past 3 years or my tax return transcript? Or both? Please help TIA

So we found out today that we needed to take the sputum test (again) due to my spouse's medical condition. Today is May 4, 2023 and the earliest that SLEC can take people in for the sputum test is on June 26, 2023...unbelievable! I can't believe there is such a backlog. Last time (September 2022), it was only a 2-week wait.

We were also told that we may be able to get an earlier appointment if we call them every day and ask for cancellations. Wondering if anyone has had any luck with this approach.

Finally - for those who went through a repeat medical exam and then submitted results to the Embassy - how long did it take for your visa to be issued after the submission?

Hi Folks...

My fianc completed her interview a couple of hours ago & was approved. She indicated that her interviewer kept some of our original paperwork which included my divorce decrees, her NBI, birth certificate & CENOMAR. Are they going to be sending those papers back to us? She was told that the VISA would be sent in 1-2 weeks.
