Birth Certificate Late Registration and Incorrect Mother's Maiden name

Hello there, I'm from the Philippines and I have an interview scheduled on March 4, 2024, Monday. However, I've encountered some issues with my birth certificate.

Firstly, my mother's maiden name on the document is incorrect as she put her married name instead. Secondly, I'm concerned about my Affidavit of Delayed Registration that doesn't have any details in it, but just signature, which is the second page of my birth certificate, as it was registered 16 days late.

I'm worried that I won't have enough time to correct these issues, as I plan to request supporting documents like school forms and corrections for my birth certificate. This might take weeks or months to be given here, and I'm afraid that my petition may be delayed or even denied due to the documents.

Please advise me on what to do.

Hello all:

Me and my fianc e are moving right along with our K1 and very excited. We are coming back to the US with two cats (yes we know about BAI permits and the process), but does anyone know of any affordable cat friendly hotels near NAIA Manila? I've been to to PHL with my dog a few year ago, but some hotels specifically exclude cats. Thoughts?

I-864 and Leave of Absence

I (USC) would like to, and am able to, take an unpaid leave of absence from my workplace to be with my wife (beneficiary of CR-1) overseas until the visa proceedings are complete.

As the leave of absence is unpaid, and I plan to stay through the CR-1 process until my spouse has her visa in hand, how will this affect the I-864, affadavit of support, portion of the process during the NVC stage?

Some other facts:

I (USC) will have a few months of earnings in the beginning of this year which are above the poverty line requirement.

I (USC) have more than double enough assets to cover the assets portion.

I will not be earning salaried money while I am overseas for several months, though I will technically still be employed and receiving a $0 paycheck and statement.

I will still have a permanent domicile in the US for mail/etc.

Questions:

Will a $0 most recent paystub be grounds for refusal if the annual earnings are still well above the minimum threshold?

If so, can I use USC assets to cover everything instead or will that still spark trouble?

Will a letter from my employer stating that I am still employed and intend to return to work after the visa is approved be accepted in lieu?

Are there any foreseeable issues with my multi-month/possibly a year+ vacation overseas with my wife (maybe not considered permanent US domicile)?

K1 Interview: Signature Change on Reaffirmed Intent to Marry Letter

Hello, Filipino beneficiary here speaking. We just received the NOA2 and will prepare documents soon. Im wondering how to sign my reaffirmed intent to marry letter. We will have our interview later down the line.

My first intent to marry letter was submitted along with the petition about a year ago. It contained my new signature, but the problem is my current IDs (government issued like TIN, PhilHealth) contain my old signature.

I will make my second, reaffirmed intent to marry letter soon and am wondering whether I should go back to using my old signature, but then it would not match with the signature on my first letter of intent to marry.

Im not aware which the embassy will look more on, having the letter s signature match across my IDs or having the letter s signature match on the older letter. Am I better off using my old or new signature here?

Hello everyone,

I am preparing the report of marriage for the Philippines Consulate in Los Angeles and part of the requirement is notarizing the Report of Marriage Form. I was wondering if I should go with the Acknowledgement notarization or the Jurat? Which one is the appropriate notarization for this form?
