My fianc is going to the Manila embassy soon for her interview. I already gave her my tax returns from the IRS for the past three years. Do I need to get her a copy of my W-2 s as well? That sounds redundant. Shouldn t that information already be provided in the tax returns?

Raising a Few Pigs for Profit, Semi-Rural Province???

This screams a terrible idea to me, am I missing anything? Things are well overall, a month or so until through the USCIS process, 129F. She was floating the idea of raising a few pigs for profit? She doesn t have much room, little to no experience doing so.

A quick net search shows the practice in the Philippines break even at best. Am I to much of a skeptic?

Again, things are well overall. I think she would really try it. I m just thinking, with the ultra low labor costs there, and expenses, any profit would be minimal. It s like the neighbor selling backyard chucked eggs for $3 a dozen, profit is usually negative.

I'm I correct that uscis gives you a name change document if you change your name when you become a citizen?

I would think that they would or is it done through a court order?

We scheduled a B-2 interview for my 82 year Filipina widowed mother-in-law. How does the US Embassy apply their policy on whether to subject her to an interview based on old age? How does the Embassy make the decision and notification to the applicant?

Attorneys are extremely expensive and in my situation it would have been a waste of resources to hire one for my K1 process. It seems like what they do is fill out forms for you and don't in any way speed up the long wait times. I am curious how others feel about this or what their personal experiences and outlook is on the subject.
