Process for bringing my wifes parents to the US

My wife just filed her N400 and we are looking ahead to possibly bringing her parents to the US after she becomes a citizen. I have a few questions about this.

First of all she will be eligible to petition for them after she becomes a citizen correct?

It is my understanding my wife would file an I-130 for them. Is the process similar to applying for a spousal visa?

It appears as far as documents go they would need birth certificates and a marriage certificate (along with my wifes birth certificate and naturalization certificate)? Is anything else needed? We would like to have her parents start gathering the needed documents now.

Are the processing times for this type of visa similar to a spousal visa or does it take longer?

My wife has a 17 year old brother. It is my understanding that after her parents become permanent residents they can petition for him. Is this correct? Would he have to be under 21 at the time they petition for him?

We would like to petition for my wifes parents as soon as she becomes a citizen so were trying to get all of our ducks in a row right now.

I-601 for vaccine waiver while waiting for CR1

Me and my wife became Documentarily Qualified on December 15th. I was wondering if while we are waiting for our interview date we can apply for the I-601 waiver so we can get a religious exemption for the vaccines. Everywhere I'm hearing, people are saying that applying for that extends the process which leads me to believe that you can only apply for that after the medical exam. Is that right? Or am I allowed to apply in parallel?

NVC K1-FTP Process for Philippines: DS-160, Visa Fee, and Timeline Questions

Hey everyone,

I just received my NVC K1-FTP on May 7th, and I'm eager to move forward with the process. I've heard some conflicting information about when to fill out the DS-160 form, so I wanted to clarify a few things.

Firstly, I checked the status of my case with the provided case number on CEAC, and it currently shows as "in transit." My understanding is that I can start filling out the DS-160 form now, but I shouldn't submit it until my case status changes to "case ready." Is that correct?

Another question I have is regarding the visa fee payment. Should I pay it now while my case is still "in transit," or should I wait until it's "case ready" before paying the fee and scheduling the interview?

Additionally, for those who have gone through the process for the Philippines, I'm curious about the typical timeframe from "in transit" to "case ready." Any insights or experiences you can share would be greatly appreciated.

I-129F processed WAY faster than intended. Is there any way to slow this process down?

So we filed the paperwork a little over 10 weeks ago and despite seeing any other case taking upwards of at least 7 months we are already approved. The thing is this is way too fast of a timeline for us due to extenuating circumstances. Is there any way to slow down the process going forward? We were expecting all of this in total to take at least 14 months or more.

We've been married just two years and I'm filing for divorce. I can't stand my wife. I've fallen out of love and don't like the way she treats me. She's also been neglecting our baby.

She has two kids of her own that I'm a step parent to, but never adopted. She's dead set on fighting the divorce and says she doesn't have to work and expects me to support her and her two kids for the next ten years because of the Affidavit of Support I filed on their behalf.

She does have an education and she is working, so she has the ability to support herself.

Am I expected to support her for ten years when she's capable of working? For her sake and the sake of her kids she should be working. As I am asking for sole custody of our baby, she would be required to pay child support.
