MNL-CLT Cats on Korean Air / Delta Question |

All: It won't be much longer before I pick up my fianc e. We're bringing our cats back to the US with us. Yes, I know about the BAI permitting and all that (I've done this before). I've been looking at several itineraries from CLT-MNL and back. Our real only choice for in-cabin pet travel is Korean Air / Delta codeshare. It seems as flying from Manila with Korean Airlines is a bit more expensive than Delta all the way back (although they're codeshare). Delta has some sort of pet embargo; I understand that is for pets checked in cargo ONLY and not in-cabin internationally? Thoughts? *checking my cats in cargo with any airline doesn't work for us. Thanks!

I'm a US citizen and will be departing from Manila terminal 3, with my Filipino wife and daughter. Which immigration line do we queue, foreign or Philippine? I don't want to separate from them in the airport.

We had our interview on Monday (May 13), the interview was very smooth with no issues and the consular said my wife s visa was approved and wait 2 to 3 weeks for her visa. Since Monday our CEAC status has updated everyday but stayed at ready. I know it s only been three days, but I wanted to check with the group to see if or when we should reach out to the embassy.

Hi Folks, Just wanted to see if anyone may know what happens in our situation. We ended up waiting until Monday (May 13th) to submit all of our AOS paperwork for my stepson. Today is officially his 90 day end date as he entered the country on February 16th, 2024. The submission was sent via USPS Priority Mail on Monday, however per the tracking information we were given the package sat for 3 days before it was accepted at the first USPS Origin Facility shortly past midnight on May 16th. Expected delivery is for Saturday, May 18th so I am guessing that the package will not be delivered until Monday the 20th. Is there anything we can or should do in this situation? Thanks! Kawika

Hello, all. Just had a question on something someone here might have already went through. Correct me if I m wrong, but I can change my name through Social Security to whatever I want it to be (?). My K1 visa and CFO certificate is approved (yay!), and flight is nearing, and I ll eventually get to applying for my SSN soon. I have two first names like many Filipinos. I really want to get rid of my first first name and only keep my second first name (Howard), but is that recommended to do? In general with immigration? Will it cause any problems for when I later on return to the Philippines and my name is different there, or when I give my birth certificate anywhere during the immigration process and they see the name is different there? Hope someone has experience on this to share. Thank you.
