Greetings! My wife received her 10 year GC 3 weeks ago. She has her SS card and has had it since arriving here in January 2019. My question is, do we need to notify SS of her change of status? Thank you and have a wonderful day. JVG

Just curious what the consequences are for marrying after the 90 days? Say you marry on day 95 and then file the AOS. Is that a major problem?

I now have my SSN which I applied for separately at our local office. Thing is, I never expected it to arrive so soon after reading all the delay stories these past months with SSA, so when I filled out and sent my i765, I ticked yes on the part asking if I want an SSN through EAD. Will this cause any issues or delays on my EAD/AOS? i have to note too that I applied at SSA with my maiden name even if I am already married. So my socials card has my maiden name on it. Will USCIS issue a replacement card bearing my married name?

We had something happen to us that is very unusual today. Back in August 2020 we got an RFE for the I-944 which I resubmitted. Our case status was set to "RFE Received" for the longest time. Now our case status is showing as the follows, "My Case Was Rejected Because it Was Improperly Filed. In August 2020, we rejected your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence because it was not filed correctly. We mailed your case back to you, including any supporting materials and fee" Is this something to be worried about? Any other I-944 RFE filers run into the same issue? We already replied to the RFE back in August. What's also interesting is on the same day we received an interview date for our EAD.
