Unable to submit N400 online

Hi, anyone else having issues submitting their N400 online?

I've been trying to submit the N400 naturalization form. I have entered all the info and everything is correct. But when I try to submit everything and it tries to connect to the pay.gov payment website for the payment, I keep getting this error: "We are having trouble sending you to Pay.gov". I have been trying now for 2 days to submit this, but it is not working. I tried different computers and different browsers, so it's not me. I also tried signing in on the pay.gov website directly, but there is no option there to pay for the N400 form

Please advise, thank you

I also send uscis a message but maybe someone here knows what to do. I can also do everyting on paper, but what's the point if there should be an option to do everything online while it's not working

Moving (back to) the US with American spouse & kids

Hi all,

I haven't been on here in a long while, and have a few questions about the situation I am in. The resources on VJ really helped me when I was first dealing with US immigration 12 years ago!

Back in 2011 I moved to the US on a K1 visa, got married, did the AOS, removal of conditions, and eventually received a 10 year green card. I got a job, we bought a house, we had kids(dual citizens US and NL). Then, the pandemic happened and it was much harder not to be near my family. We decided to move to the Netherlands, where I am from, to be close to my family for a while. My husband (American) found a job and we finally moved summer 2022.

I like it here but know I don't want to stay forever - I think we would want to move back to our house in the US in Summer 2024. I would like some advice regarding the steps to take to make this happen. I haven't yet given up my GC, but realize I will probably have to do that. It doesn't seem like I meet the criteria for a readmittance visa since I left voluntarily to live outside the US. It is all a bit confusing, and frankly, scary to see the processing times for visas etc. It almost seems as though I would need to apply for a new visa in the next few months if we want any chance of getting an immigration visa in that time frame. And will I be allowed to travel to the US to see our family, friends, and take care of things regarding our house?

Any help would be much appreciated, I am kind of freaking out over here.

I had my N400 interview approved in Chicago on 9/15/22, there was no same day oath available. I'm still waiting for my oath ceremony date. Curious to see how long you guys had to wait for your oath ceremony after the N400 interview in Chicago. My interviewer said I should receive a notice in 2 weeks, but it has been almost 4 weeks now and guess what... still nothing haha. Can't wait to get this over with since I need to make some travel plans. Many thanks!!

Hi,

I married my American wife in 2016, after the whole cr1 process was completed I came here on 01/16/2020 and I m a resident with a permanent greencard.

However, I would like to apply for citizenship. But my question is, do I have to wait till 01/16/2023 when it s been exactly 3 years that I would be living in the usa. Or can I start the whole process a few months earlier? How long are the processing times right for the N400?
Thank you

Hi y all,

Me and my son (8 year old) came to the US on k1 Dec 21. Filed for AOS in feb 22, within a year of doing my medical exams in my home country. Last week I received a RFE for showing proof of a marital life (evidence already sent). But my son received a RFE for doing his medical. I don t understand why, as we filed for AOS within a year. I called USCIS, the person I spoke to said I will receive a call back within 30 days. Has anyone experience with this? What can I do more?
