Bear with me please, i'm new and i just wanna get this right. I've seen on youtube some people fill in "N/A" and some people leave spaces blank. What are the thoughts on people who've done this before? I am aware of instruction page that says: 3. Answer all questions fully and accurately. If a question does not apply to you (for example, if you have never been married and the question asks Provide the name of your current spouse ), type or print N/A, unless otherwise directed. If your answer to a question which requires a numeric response is zero or none (for example, How many children do you have or How many times have you departed the United States ), type or print None, unless otherwise directed.

The N400 instructions only state that passport photos, copy of Green Card, current marriage document copy are all that is required to be included. Yet the VJ guides state to attach everything else, i.e. previous divorce decrees, spouse BC, proof of living together, etc. etc. What have others been including in the initial N400 filing? Have you been front loading with all the "other" documents or not? Tnx in advance, Phil

Questions about Social Security Card Request Denial |

My husband and I went into the Social Security office shortly after we married to apply for a SSN. We provided his K1 visa, our marriage certificate, the i-94 document, and of course the application itself as evidence he was eligible for a number. Yesterday we received a denial letter that his visa was expiring soon, so he was ineligible for a SSN. Our friends went through the exact same process, and they had no issue. Anyone else run into this issue? We are totally confused, because when we did the application, his visa wasn t set to expire for another 1.5 months, plus we were in the process of applying for the adjustment of status as well. Even with all that, us being married, according to our own research and talking to our friends, should have made him eligible for a SSN. Any tips? We can repeal the decision, which is our plan on Monday, but we are slightly confused on what else we can provide as evidence. This is really an issue because I can even file my taxes without his SSN, let alone move forward with adding his name to the bills and getting a bank account. Help please, especially if you had issues as well. Thanks in advance!

Help, my fiance's passport is valid until November 2021 but his country is making it mandatory that new passports go into effect January 2021. My plan is to file by Aug 1st. Will this interfere with the visa process? Thanks for your advice in advance.
