US Immigration from Italy

My application was received by USCIS on 01/02 and when I woke up this morning I saw a declined transaction of $680.

I used credit card transactions for all my forms (I-129F, AOS and so on) and never, ever had any issues.

To my horror, this happened when my green card expires on 01/18.

Besides the fact that I had a slight mental breakdown, I had to call off work and I am now re-printing my whole package (over 500 pages) and re-sending everything today with overnight shipping and a cashier s check.

I guess my question is, there shouldn t be any issues with a cashier s check, correct?

Also, assuming the other application will be sent back to me with a rejection notice due to lack of payment, could this cause problems with the new application I m sending out today?

I might be paranoid right now but I am concerned about the fact that I have a tight timeframe.

my husband naturalized in April 2019. If he wanted to sponsor his brother in Italy, how long would he have to wait to start the process.

their parents have passed away and his brother is there alone with now some health problems, it might be good to have him here with family.

Trying to find out how long does it take at the airport going through immigration want to book a flight for my fianc but don t want him to miss his next flight

I am Iranian raised in United States and lived in USA for over 20 years. my fiance is Iranian male who is resident of italy for the past 5 or so years. after waiting 13 months uscis approved our I-129f form, then after 3 months NVC got our case processed for a US consulate in Naples, Italy. In September 2023 my fiance finally had an interview. We also unfortunately planned for a wedding for October. Now his case is in AP.

can anyone tell me what is this form you are all mentioning WoM mean and how I can go about filling one.

Hello everyone! I had my interview on September 5th 2023 and was verbally approved. The same day CEAC status changed to "Application Received" and today it switched to "Approved" with the below text:

"the consular officer has approved your application subject to final processing by the consular section that is necessary to issue your visa. When that processing is complete, the status will change to "Issued". However, a final screening step must still be completed prior to issuance that could lead a consular officer to conclude that you are not eligible for a visa. If that occurs, the consular officer will notify you that your application has been denied and your status will change to "Refused".
