AOS from ESTA, do I have any chances of approval? VERY LONG STORY (merged)

Hi everyone,

I would have never thought that by now I would still be posting on here, but here I am.

I applied for AOS from ESTA in August 2020, marriage based, got an RFE for i944 form, then submitted it and my case status is "waiting to schedule for an interview" since March 2021.

I got EAD and AP, but can't work as my field is aviation and nobody wants to employ someone without a GC (need to be able to fly in and out of the country freely and they don't trust AP).

I live in Sacramento and my field office seems to be still NBC.

I applied for an expedite request yesterday, but I have very little hope that it's actually going to be accepted.

So, now, based on these info, what do you think I should expect? Is there any hope that I'll actually get an interview soon? Or is it possible that they lost my case or something like that?

What can I possibly do to get things moving?

I feel really sad and discouraged to be honest.

My husband and I have two little daughters (USC) and I really need to work (other fields are not an option for many reasons that would take too long to disclose on here), not to mention that it's very emotionally draining to be in this limbo for so long, almost without any rights and with the fear of rejection/denial/deportation...

My husband and I would like to buy a house, develop our careers, put down roots, build our life together... But none of that is possible untill I finally get a GC.

I don't know what to do or think.

Does anybody have some insight for me or maybe someone can share their story if they had a similar experience?

I would really appreciate it

Thank you

I'm a little mixed up here. So my mom is diabetic and bedridden and will need to undergo amputation. This is very concerning, guys. Anyways, if I want to expedite my application that's been sitting and collecting dust for over a year would I have to pay $2,500? Is "Expedite" and "Premium Processing the same? Where do I start?

Thanks so much for your help

Would love to have a small whatsapp group, if anyone is interested. My email is(removed)

Hello everyone,

I have applied for ROC on July 2021 so an year ago. I haven't received any update about my case nor any interview has been scheduled. I really want to move to another state by the end of September maximum October. I am aware that if I move to another state my case will be further delay but I can't put my life on hold waiting for this to happen.

Has anyone been in this situation and moved when the case was still pending? How long did it delay your cases?

Thank you in advance

I-129F Extensions Still?

Are embassy s still doing automatic extensions (we re at Naples)? Or do we need to start from the beginning?
It s a long story but we were approved April 2021, case received by the embassy in June 2021 and had an interview scheduled for Sept 2021. Italy was in a red zone and we weren t able to get a certain document on time and he missed his appointment. After that drama we took the time to focus on our relationship because everything felt like a rush for paperwork so we put everything on pause. Fast forward to June 2022 and we are 100% ready. We went onto CEAC and it still shows our case ready with the last time the case was updated being Sept 2021.
It was initially locked to where he couldn t select a new date for an interview so he sent an email via the scheduling site and got a response back saying the officer unlocked it and he could pick another date. He has his appointment at the end of July now.

In all the excitement about the case still being at the embassy I didn t think about the expiration date of the case.
Now that COVID s impact has lessened are embassies still automatically extending the expiration dates or are we getting false hope and he s going to get to the appointment and be told it s not valid?
