Asking for a friend who finds themselves unable to join. AFAIK the question is a bit time sensitive "My sponsor is on ssdi, she lives with her 4 children's all of which are minors, out of which 3 childrens receives survivor benefits from the gov itself which comes to the petitioners bank account, so how to calculate her total annual income? Just add what she makes ssdi on, or add all the incomes together that she gets from the gov including the children's getting survivor benefits (which is their dad passed away)"

What are the actual advantages to filing the N-600 for the purpose of obtaining a Certificate of Citizenship for minors who already have a US Passport and a US Passport card? It's an expensive form to file two times and I question the necessity. Maybe this is a question best answered by @Mike E

Filed in July 2022. submitted no evidence of marriage besides the marriage certificate. I-130 petition was recently approved at the local field office (Chatsworth, CA). My I-485 adjustment-of-status is now "RFE" for medical exam. Does this mean there will not be an interview? Or do I-485 sometimes still get an interview even after I-130 is approved?

Hi just a quick question. The beneficiary has had a change of adress and a change in mailing adress. We have not received our NOA2 yet but will soon hopefully. When do we update them with this new information? What mail is sent from the Montr al embassy to the beneficiary? Can the mail they send be done via email?

I am a US citizen/Canada PR, husband is Canada citizen and last month we submitted the 1-30 online. I have lived in Canada for almost 10 years and we will stay in Canada together until he has a via in hand. We are aware this can take up to 2 years, but I am curious is it best for us to sell our house in Canada before he receives his visa? I keep reading about a 25% tax and of course would rather not pay that. Our current mortgage renews next fall, so we were thinking of selling the house at that time and renting for our remaining time here. We will use the proceeds of our house sale here to fund the move, purchase a house in the US. TIA!
