Montreal Medisys (Cliniques TELUS Santé) review 2021

Medical Date/Time: March 30th, 2021 / 11:30am.

Type of Visa: K-1 Visa medical.
Total duration: 2 hours.
Gender: Male.

When I arrived a few minutes before my appointment time, there was a lady sitting outside of the entrance to the clinic on the 22nd floor checking people in. I gave my 5 passport photos, vaccinations records, interview confirmation letter, and confirmation of payment for the interview. Once I was accepted in I went to the receptionist who took my driver's license and photocopied it (they asked for my passport but any government-issued photo ID is acceptable), gave me back my vaccination records, and given a stack of forms fill out.

I don't remember how long I waited after giving back the forms but I was then called by a nurse who checked over my vaccination record again and said it was very rare for someone to have all their vaccinations done beforehand; I suggest you vaccinate before going because the prices range from $50-100 (I had MMR, Hep A + B, flu, TD - tetanus and diphtheria without the pertussis because this was a booster shot, every other vaccine was taken care of as a child), took my blood, height and weight measurements, eye test both with and without my glasses, and a urine sample.

I went back to the waiting room until another nurse came to do my chest x-ray for turburculosis. I went back to the waiting room again until the doctor called for me. I was told to remove everything except for my boxers (I feel like I could've gotten away with wearing shorts over my boxers). I was asked questions regarding my health history, ears/blood pressue/lungs/lymph nodes near armpits/2 spots around the groin and abdomen were checked.

I paid a total of $540 even though the website says $595. The x-ray CD and vaccination records (if you had any done there) are sent to your home address and the medical envelope is sent to the embassy.

I submitted the removal of conditions back in January, a day or so after the 90 day period opened. My wife and I have found some additional information that might help the application. Any thoughts on sending unsolicited additional information?

Hello-

So confused....On page 2 of the I-485 it asks for "Place of Last Arrival into the US" City or Town.

My fiance came to the US through YUL Airport (Montreal) where US CBP is stationed and let him through there. From there, he flew to Denver (layover) and landed in Sacramento.

What do i indicate as place of last arrival?

TIA

Kierra

I-864A Household Member Question

Hi, I'd like to figure out if our household member's income is sufficient but I'm a little confused on how to calculate the household size.

So the main sponsor doesn't work, but the household member does. The household members has three dependent children. So in our I-864, we listed the main sponsor [1], the household member [1], and the 3 of us who are intending to immigrate [3]. That brings the total household size to 5. But my household member has 3 children - where would we account for them? There's no option to put household member's dependents on either the I-864 or I-864A. Both the household member + children + petitioner live at the same address. 2 out of the 3 children are under 18 right now. So now I'm confused, is our household size 5 members or 8?

Thanks
