US Immigration from Canada

Hello, I have looked around and found some information from 2009 but wondering who can help me with this.

Where is the updated list of what supporting information is needed? The i-134 doesnt call out any specific documents.

The list I have so far is;

- A signed statement from your employer on business letterhead that states the date and nature of your employment, salary paid, and whether the position is temporary or permanent

- A copy of your last U.S. federal income tax return (i am assuming that since my 2020 taxes are being filed now i will use my 2019 tax filing?)

- W2

- Past 3-months of pay-stubs

Any other items that I should provide would be appreciated.

Hi guys, I am currently finishing the form I684 and I have a question about the signature. Can I e-sign?

The first time I did the form I printed it out and scanned all the pages but then the file was too heavy, I then downloaded adobe and did it all on the computer but I am confused about the signature part.

I was wondering if there are any additional documents that the applicant has to bring to the interview in Montreal in case of a dual citizenship.

I am the applicant, French and Canadian (naturalized), and our application is based on my Canadian citizenship and current domicile (10 years).

However, I had to give my French passport number (and criminal record of course, never went back to France since then) at some point at the NVC stage. I will bring both of my passports to the interview, but is there anything else I should be aware of ?

We are F3 visa category. Married children of US citizen. We had an interview with the Montreal Consulate last year but it was canceled due to the pandemic. We are waiting to be rescheduled.

Our case is passed NVC stage and is sitting at the Consulate in queue to be rescheduled.

Our RCMP criminal check has since expired so we went and got that done again. We know we will have to get our medical exams done again as they expired too. This is all stuff we assumed had to be redone as we've received no instructions from the consulate.

We will also get updated income tax info from our sponsor as those we submitted are not the most recent anymore.

That brings me to wondering if we need to update the affidavit of support form as the tax info on there is out of date. Everything else is the same so I wasn't sure if just bringing new income tax info would be ok.

Lastly since our case is with the consulate and not NVC now do we just bring the updated things with us or do we need to mail it to the consulate ahead of time?

I wish we'd get some instruction from the consulate or could talk to someone in person. Emailing and getting a vague response 2 weeks later isn't helpful. We need to know ahead of time to get things ready.

If anyone knows what we need to do it would be very much appreciated.

Since we are stuck in the US and cannot work are we entitled to the stimulus check? (No Social security number yet)
