My husband and I, unfortunately, are having martial issues. My AOS is still pending, I m still waiting for a bio appointment (been waiting over 8 months now). My question is, If it comes down to us separating/divorcing Do I have to return to Canada immediately and my application is denied? Is there anyway I would still have a chance at the green card. I have built a life here and love it here. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much!

Hello, my priority date is June 18, 2020...all fees have been paid and documents uploaded and submitted, except my marriage certificate (Ontario Canada) keeps getting rejected. It is the official document however when scanned (long legal copy) it is two pages. Can anyone assist and help me determine why this doc would have been rejected twice? Is there another form of submitting this document that will confirm to the size requirements? Is there anyone at the NVS who I can discus this with via phone? I m tired of submitting documents and then three weeks later getting a message saying it s incorrect.

Good morning all. I'm a Canadian citizen who has been documentary qualified since October 5 2020. My family was saying in Canada and waiting but the landlord sold the house we were living with. I told my wife she may as well head back to Arizona with the kids and I'll be sure to join them soon. Here I am starting my 4th month in Canada alone and no idea where the end of this will be. I can't find hawkriders spreadsheet on this site. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Help? Thanks

N-400 Interview Report - Las Vegas

My interview should have been a combo I-751/N-400 interview, but out of the blue (after contacting my state Senator), my I-751 was approved without an interview and a new green card was mailed. So my interview ended up being for the N-400 only.

From what I could see, there were more staff than applicants in the building - my appointment was at 2:45pm, and there was 1 other person in the waiting room scheduled for 2:30pm. The interview took about 20 minutes. The officer said he would get the civics test out of the way first to avoid nerves/worry throughout the interview. He typed after every answer so I'm guessing they have to document your answers.

My questions were:

1. What are 2 rights in the Declaration of Independence?

2. Who did the US fight during World War II?

3. What was the main concern during the Cold War?

4. How many years is a US Senator elected for?

5. What is our state capital?

6. Who is the current Vice President?

Reading part: Who was Abraham Lincoln?

Writing part: Lincoln was President during the Civil War. (This had to be written on an tablet/ipad thing.)

I also had to answer 3 questions on the tablet about whether I had any affiliations with the Nazi party, and other similar groups. He said I missed these questions on my application. When I told him I had checked and double-checked my application before submitting, he said many people seemed to be missing these questions so perhaps the online application didn't have them. Anyway, no big deal.

As I had applied under the 3-year rule based on marriage to a US Citizen, I expected to have a few questions about my marriage, but there was not a single question about this. He didn't even ask to see my husband's proof of citizenship. The only thing he asked was how many times I had been married, and if I was "single, married, or divorced?" There were the usual questions about whether I have ever been a terrorist, had military weapons training, or worked as a prostitute. At the end, he gave me a paper stating that I has passed the test and recommended me for approval. I should receive an oath ceremony notice in 30-60 days. Oath ceremonies are only being conducted on Thursdays in Las Vegas at the moment.

Got into my car and received a text update that my oath ceremony was to be scheduled. Almost at the finish line!!
