US Immigration from Canada

Hi everyone. My husband and I recently got married and just received our NOA for our I-485 and I-130. He is unable to leave the country so I am going to drive up to Canada and drive down a Uhaul with his belongings. I am seeing a lot of information about necessary forms and what not and would love any feedback from someone who has already done this. We already have an itemized list of all his belongings, and of course I have my passport and we'll be waiting until we have a paper copy of the NOA I-797. It looks like we also need a 3299 Customs Form and a copy of our marriage license to be safe. Any other recommendations of forms or tips for crossing the border with his belongings? Thanks!

I just spent the last 4 hours going through this threat back to last year and seeing this really breaks my heart. I live in Toronto and my fiance in Florida. My fianc and I are trying to decide between a K-1 or just get married already and submit a CR-1 but I am not vaccinated and do not wish to be......so does that just mean we'll never be able to be together now? We've been together for 4 years now and haven't seen each other now in over 6 months because of the border closures so we're ready to just submit the papers so we can be together sooner. Yet this literally just eradicates us ever being together if it's being forced. I understand most people wish to be vaccinated against Covid and I respect that but I do not, and am honestly more scared of the vaccine than the virus. I don't know what to do now and honestly just feel broken and depressed now knowing even if I submit now it'll be a year before I might even get an interview let alone will be approved without this vaccine.... Don't even know what to do anymore.... I can't go a year and a half not seeing him, let alone not being approved after waiting that long....

My parents finally got their interview in montreal for Oct 4 and i really dont want to reschedule this. They are currently visiting me in USA so i would need to schedule a flight back for them ASAP, but i had a few questions.

kinda in a panic here and was hoping for clarification. two questions

• Police cert: I read on the travel state site that the police cert is valid for two years now. is this true? I checked the Montreal checklist and it said 12 months. Would you you know if its 12 months or 24 months?
• Medical: Since the interview is so soon and i have to send them back to Canada asap, if they schedule their medical appointment and get it done before attending the interview, and the consulate do not get the medical packet before they attend the interview, is that ok? I assume they wont get approved but as long as they can attend the interview and the medical results can come after, I am ok with it.

Hi, I read online that cases where an applicant is aging-out have high priority (Tier One). I'm just wondering if my visa category would allow me to expedite the visa interview? I know Tier One is for Immediate Relatives but my case is a Family Preference (F3) case. This is what the travel.state.gov website says:

• Tier One: Immediate relative intercountry adoption visas, age-out cases (cases where the applicant will soon no longer qualify due to their age), certain Special Immigrant Visas (SQ and SI for Afghan and Iraqi nationals working with the U.S. government), and emergency cases as determined on a case-by-case basis.

My question is, now that I'm already 21, can we expedite the interview for our F3 family preference case or does this only apply for Immediate Relative applicants? Here's some more details about me:

PD: July 2008

Approved date: Apr 2010

DQ: July 2020

21st birthday: Feb 2021

Visa current: Mar 2021

We became DQ'd before the visa was current, so I am assuming I have already "sought to acquire" as I submitted the DS-260s on NVC and it was accepted.
