Did anyone experience any hiccups transferring your teenagers high school credits to highschool in the US?

Canada you can pass at 50%, but in the US I heard it s 60%. What would happen to credits that were just over 50% to pass?

Furthermore in NS highschool credits only start in grade 10. So I m assuming my daughter will be put behind even further?

I m just curious as to anyone s personal experiences.

I was told that you need to wait 2 weeks of quarantining once you come from outside the country to visit a SSA office.

However I see many posts about people going days after arriving in the country.

Did they drop this requirement? Do they not ask when you walk in if you have been out of the country in the last two weeks?

My wife came out K1 visa in 2019, and at the time we did not apply for her child (under 10) to come with. Now we are ready for that process but have some questions.

Do we follow the I-130 with me as the petitioner since she is not yet a citizen?

The child is in Philippines with my wife's parents. My wife has full custody. We live in Pennsylvania. Does anyone know what the adoption process is like? Do we do that before or after the child arrives in the US?

Anything else we need to consider now? About how long does this process take?

Hi. My application to expedite E2 visa interview was approved about 10 days ago. I haven't heard from the MTL consulate, Canada ever since. Anyone had this experience be4? I have a few questions, plz:

- What are their response timelines?

- Am I supposed to get a new police certificate, considering the one sent to NVC is past the 12 month mark I.e. expired?

- Are minor (below 10years) dependents required to attend in person interviews?

Hi Everyone - need some advice on this section. My husband has a previous DUI from 15 years which was disclosed during the Permanent Resident process. Does he still need to mention it again in this section? TIA
