Airlines require passengers to fill out a Travel Attestation form. Can anyone let me know if the answer to below is NO. While you are on AOS, you do not have a qualified immigrant visa, correct? Am I considered B2 which was the nonimmigrant visa that I had prior to filing? Are you a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, U.S national or non-U.S. citizen traveling to the United States on a qualified immigrant visa? About Me: I currently have a pending I-485 and traveled to Canada temporarily for a week and have my AP in my possession.

Hi, I am a Canadian citizen, currently living in Canada working for a Canadian company. My husband is an American citizen and we are planning on applying for my green card but before we do I want to get a bit more information about what my work situation might look like. Ideally I'd be able to live and work in the US remotely for my current employer (even if only temporarily until I could find a permanent US job), paid in CAD through a Canadian bank, but I want to know if there are any roadblocks to that before I proceed, assuming my green card gets approved. Two questions: - Would I be subject to double taxation (Canadian and US taxes)? - Would my employer have to do anything differently? (I'm hoping the answer to this one is No) I have yet to discuss this with my employer but want to be able to answer questions they may have. If anyone has been through this or knows the process please let me know. Thank you

Hi all! We'll be moving in 2 months and I'm excited! I was researching some phone plans, and compared to what we have here in Canada, U.S. plans are so much more affordable. There's this provider called Visible (www.visible.com) and they run on the Verizon network. They have a $45/month plan (including taxes & fees) and it has unlimited data (50GB is premium data), unlimited text, and unlimited calling. Also includes 500 minutes per month of international calling to 90 countries. Pretty solid deal considering they run on the Verizon network. It also includes 5G Ultra Wideband which is really fast data, but you need to live in a 5G Ultra Wideband area to access it and require a compatible phone. There's also another plan for $30/month, except it doesn't include 5G Ultra Wideband and your data gets throttled when the network is congested. Both of these plans are prepaid so there's no credit check required, but you will need a device that's compatible with the Verizon network in order to use it. FYI - these plans are best for those looking to buy individual plans. If you plan to combine with a family member or friend, look into T-Mobile or Verizon's plans. If anyone has any other recommendations, feel free to comment below

Hello, I am a Canadian citizen with hopes to move to the U.S. My mom applied for me non-immigrant visa in Dec 2015. All required documents (petitioner and applicant) were approved in Feb 2022. I have not heard anything since then. Is there anyone on the same timeline as I am? Please share your experiences. As per NVC's website, my file is still with the NVC. The last email I received suggested that it will be sent to the consulate in Montreal. I contacted the NVC last month. I haven't heard anything. Any guidance on this issue will be appreciated.

Hi everyone, Has anyone ever seen anyone be granted an expedite with MTL without DQ yet? I know there are two types of expedites that can be granted by the Consulate 1) Expedited to post once DQ. and 2 ) Expedited to post for Consulate to finish with the DQ. I am just wondering if anyone has seen MTL ever do the latter of the two?
