Bringing Canadian Spouse to US

Hello I am new here so I am not sure if I am posting in the correct spot. I apologize in advance!

I am a US Citizen, married to a Canadian Citizen. We live in Canada and I am a PR in Canada. We want to move to the US, and unsure where to start. Seems like I need to apply for I-130, but confused on the domicile part. Would it be better if I move back to the US first to have domicile? If I move back to the US, can my husband visit for 6 months at a time. I know he will not be able to work, but we would rather be together. I am guessing from start to finish to get the GC is a long time, took us 10 months for me to receive PR in Canada so we have sort of done this process before.

Any help I would appreciate. TIA!

Are there no NEXUS remote interviews at all?

Posting this in the Canada area as I feel it makes the most sense here.

My NEXUS card expired on July of 2021, however I applied for renewal and was conditionally approved in 2020. For the last couple of years, I've found it virtually impossible to find a remote interview in any capacity, and any of the in-person interviews are at places I really have no other reason to visit for. It appears that all the locations in Canada are still closed, otherwise I would have tried to get an in-person interview in Calgary as I could at least take a vacation to visit family there and knock out two birds with one stone. I also had my husband apply for a NEXUS so we can travel via the benefits together, and his application is also conditionally approved, but he wasn't a previous cardholder, so he can't use the benefits yet.

Has anyone at all had any success with getting an interview for NEXUS since the pandemic began?

Establishing Infants Citizenship

Hello all,

Helping another friend. She's Canadian (born citizen) and her husband is American (born citizen).

They married, and had a baby. The baby is 9 months old. She was born in Canada, her US father us on the birth certificate and they were already married at the time she was born.

They are filling for AOS (legally, three Mom and baby had no intention of remaining in the US when they came for a visit; however circumstances changed months after she arrived).

My only question is - the best way to establish legal US status for the infant.

Because they weren't intending to stay in the US they hadn't yet filed for the baby's record of birth abroad.

Do they add the baby to their I-130 during the AOS application?

Is there an alternate to the US Record of Birth Abroad form? (Bc it requires a visit to the consulate in Montreal, and even when they are able to visit Canada, that's the last possible option. Also, I think there's a time limit on this approach? And they'll be past it by the time the Mom's GC is approved and they can travel).

I think I'm missing a really obvious form bc of the terminology I'm searching.

Thank you all for your help.

Hello, I am an American and brought my husband to the us (arrived May 2021) and he has a green card. He started working at a company doing sales and in order to get in to certain companies he visits he needs to be a US citizen. Is there any way if he gets letters from work stating how it s vital for him to be a US citizen to complete his job, that the government will grant him citizenship earlier than the standard 5 years?

thanks.

What's the average timeframe between when the status changes from 'Oath Ceremony will be Scheduled' to 'Oath Ceremony Notice has been Mailed'? My status changed on 12/10, I'm so close but now I'm just antsy to get it all done and over with. Anyone with previous experience on the timeline for the Tampa field office would be helpful too.
