  1. DQed in early March, but my wife's photo was taken in Dec when the case was first established. Should we replace her photo? In the meantime, I have finished my TY 23 tax and received my 1040 back. Should I upload it into CEAC? Will this new DQ push my position back into April/ May DQ for IL, or will I stay in the queue for March DQ? Thanks!
  2. May I ask you a question? I checked my CEAC status and I was DQed March. But CEAC says still “at nvc”, not “ready” status. I feel that’s strange. May I ask what’s your case status on CEAC?
  3. Anyone get IL recently? It has been awfully quiet…
  4. Document Qualified TODAY! 3 months of getting stuff prepped, turned around 2 times, and finally get qualified. Now it's the waiting game.
  5. Congrats! Just submitted all the stuff to NVC, hope can get something soon!
  6. So there are only five approved physicians listed on the DOS website in Canada. One in QC, one in BC and three in ON. https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/Supplements/Supplements_by_Post/MTL-Montreal.html The one in QC is TELUS Health Care Centres 600 Boul. de Maisonneuve West, 22nd Floor Montreal, QC, H3A 3J2 Tel: 514-845-1211 Tel: 1-800-361-3493 check the website. I need to book the one with BC and the physician is pretty strict on how to book appt.
  7. Biting my nails here every day for just waiting for my wife's police clearance from both RCMP and HKPF so we can submit everything to NVC and get documents qualified. The weird thing (or not so weird) for HKPF is that they don't mail the clearance back to you (they will mail it to MTL once done) nor will the give you any receipt. I snap a photo of my wife's fingerprint card and honestly, I have no idea if I should submit these to CEAC or just leave the blank there and explain the situation. Any suggestions?
  8. Still in the NVC stage though, but we need to plan ahead. Did anyone get their IV interview letters from Montereal after NVC qualified recently? And how far are they scheduling out? Weeks? Months? My wife is on an open work permit in Canada which is due to expire by the end of 2024. So we wanna know this information beforehand to avoid the need for her to apply for a Canadian PR. Thanks!
  9. My wife's 130 finally got approved just on the 11-month mark, huarry! Now we have a couple of questions that need some guidance since her case is kinda unique. 1, We know that it may take some time for USCIS to send the file to NVC, how long has that been so far? Right now it still says "approved", when will it say "Case Was Sent To The Department of State" roughly? Weeks? Months? 2, Once established, NVC sends a welcome letter, do we send all files electronically via the system or by paper? 3, Since she's from Hong Kong, we are thinking about changing the interview location from Montreal to Hong Kong, is that feasible? Because the police certificate in Hong Kong is unique and cannot be obtained w/o an official letter from NVC, we are thinking of getting everything done in HK instead of Canada since HK has less population on immigrant visa applications than Canada overall thus it may be faster. Thanks!
