US Immigration from Canada

I'm wondering what next steps I should be taking as when I filled my I-751 in June of 2021 I received a 24 month extension to my I-551. Based on the extension given it will lapse as of March 7, 2023. I have started filling out my I-400. I tried requesting a status update online but since we are still just within the 24 months it wouldn't send one through. Should I send additional information and pictures showing that yes my husband are in fact still married hoping to to maybe say hey don't forget about me and approve this?

Looking for any and all suggestion.

I had my interview on 25th Jan from Montreal consulate and I was issued a 221g letter and asked for my additional documents which includes original birth certificate, criminal record check and my passport. I submitted my docs via courier and my last case update was 15 Feb 2023 which has been updated twice but still is refused. what does it mean? is this positive or negative response? also, is it necessary to go every 221g case to AP process or some directly get changed to issued? please let me know.

I checked for a post about this but couldn't really find exactly what my question was. Apologies if this is duplicate or if it was mentioned previously. I have a few questions regarding acquiring the green card after entering the US with an approved CR-1:

• Can you start to work immediately after crossing the border if you had a job offer waiting for you?
• Does already having a SSN expedite this process? I have a SSN due to having worked on a visa previously.
• Do you need a physical green card in hand to start to work?

Hi guys, this is my first time posting on here after quietly sleuthing for months..

my immigration journey has been unique, initially filed for consular processing and started the process March, 2021.

i130 was approved Dec 2021, and I began my NVC process.

However this past June while visiting my husband I went into early very early labour and had my baby in Michigan & while my baby was in the NICU we decided that we would have to change to AOS processing.

We submitted the I-485 & I-864 Sept 26, 2022- I had my biometrics Oct 28,22 & my case went into active review Oct 29, 2022.

There has been no updates since then... I am now realizing that I should have submitted the I-693 medical exam and am now worried that I did this incorrectly.

I am assuming I will get an RFE for a medical & can submit it then but I am wondering if I can go ahead and do the medical and submit it on my own before the RFE?

Or should I wait?

Wondering if anyone has any advice regarding taxes ...

I worked until January 25 in Canada (approx 3k gross) then moved to USA.

I have a pension plan that I'd like to take the cash payout on, which is about 8500$ pre-tax withholdings (about 6800$ after the 20% taxes come off)

Will I be filing taxes in Canada for January 1-23rd? I assume yes, in which I will claim the 3,000$ from work and the 8500$? Or just the 6800$?

In addition to that, when the time comes to file my US taxes next year, am I reclaiming that 11,500$ as income, or is it separate?

Do I claim my US income for the rest of this year in Canada too?

I'm just so lost and don't even know where to begin to find someone who knows the answers...
