We are scheduled for our interview on May 30th and preparing our documentation. On the packet 4 email it says "Birth certificate (Petitioner and Beneficiary)". The Petitioner and Beneficiary part is in bold as well. In my research I did not see the beneficiary birth certificate being needed, I have included in my i-134 multiple years of tax documents, passport, bank statements, etc. Is this a new requirement or is this a function of the packet 4 being used for multiple visa types? I can send one to her (I have almost a month) if needed but I wanted to check here first. Thank you! J

My daughter is sponsoring both her father and me on separate visa petitions. We have requested and received consideration to arrive together. (Thank you to the person here who suggested that.) We are unclear about how to count her household members. Part 3, Number 2 on Form I-864 says to not count anyone immigrating on a separate petition. Yet, it seems that we should both be counted as she'll be sponsoring both of us at the same time. Can anyone give us direction on this? Thank you!

I already submitted my online DS-160 application for my K1, and part of my submission was a scanned copy of the filled checklist (see picture below). The problem is, I neglected to checkmark the "Death and/or divorce certificate(s) for petitioner and for beneficiary, if applicable." My sponsor has a divorce decree, which we also submitted during the I-129f stage. Is it enough to bring the divorce decree to the interview, or should I also do something else (e.g., contact the embassy to explain this mistake?) Thanks!

Our daughter has applied to sponsor my husband and me. We've each just received a separate email with an NVC Case Number and Invoice ID Number. We plan to arrive together. When I enter our numbers, it seems I am taken to separate forms for each of us. Should we both be creating our case on one form with one as the Principal Applicant and the other as the Derivative Family Member?

I have a few questions about preparing for my interview and what to expect. I was DQ'ed Feb 17th, still waiting to hear when my interview will be. 1- Will the interview letter come through via email or physical post? 2- A few things like my current job and husbands phone number and current address have all changed since filling DS-260, should i be updating this in CAEC Account with NVC? 3- Does anyone have any experience with how long after you receive your interview letter it will take for the actual interview date? I have heard conflicting things.
