My dad was here between 2001-2007 (He has been living in Argentina since then), he came here on a tourist visa and overstayed, as I'm filling out the i130, question 45 asks if he was ever in the USA. I said yes, Question 46.b: asks for I94 #, and I don't have this, I'm wondering if i can leave these questions blanks since he is been out of the USA for more than 10 years, or I need to get the i94. He still has his old passport with the stamps, I do now know if that matters or not.

Hi, I became a citizen a few months ago. My son is living in Argentina, he is 12 years old and I would like to know what should I do to apply for his tourist visa so he can come and visit me? Is there a simple way to do this since I am a US citizen? Or is it the same for everybody? Thanks in advance!

Hey everybody. So I had my interview today for a K-1 Visa. Everything went alright, super kind and at the end of the interview they said my visa was approved. Of course as soon as I could I called my fianc e and told her we were getting married and celebrated. BUT, 2 hours later I received an email saying "Following your interview, it was determined that your case requires additional processing" with a microsoft word file with the title "Supplemental questions for visa applicants". I looked it up and it shows up as form DS-5535. I answered everything to the best of my knowledge and replied the email with the file attached. Should I be scared they changed their mind about approving our visa? I'm honestly freaking out because we were so happy about being approved and now we don't understand what's going on. Thanks in advance.

Hello, We received our I-485 (Spose of US Citizen) approval notice letter. But I am little concerned about the language in the latter as it mentions: "The above application has been approved. Prior to receiving your permanent resident card you may be required to report for biometrics processing" How ever I did complete my biometrics early this year and my combo card was issued based off the biometrics. Did anyone or know of anyone get a similar approval notice? Can you please answer my queries: - Do I have to do an additional biometrics?
- Am I officially an LPR? What is my current status?
- Although, hard to predict, When can I expect my Card in the mail?
The last part of notice concerns me, which says: "Although this application or petition has been approved, USCIS and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security reserve the right to verify this information before and/or after making a decision on your case so we can ensure that you have complied with applicable laws, rules, regulations, and other legal authorities. We may review public information and records, contact others by mail, the internet or phone, conduct site inspections of businesses and residences, or use other methods of verification. We will use the information obtained to determine whether you are eligible for the benefit you seek. If we find any derogatory information, we will follow the law in determining whether to provide you (and the legal representative listed on your Form G-28, if you submitted one) an opportunity to address that information before we make a formal decision on your case or start proceedings." Thank you!!
