My wife is a LPR and filed an I-130 to bring her stepson to the US. Here are the details:

Stepson DOB: 10/22/2004

Priority Date: 8/19/2024

I130 Approval Date: 8/28/2025

CSPA added time, 1 year + 9 days. (I think I am calculating this correctly)

Age Out date: 10/28/2026 (Again, I'm not 100% sure I'm calculating this correctly)

Current Visa Bulletin Final Action Date: 9/1/2022

What I think all this means is unless the FA date in the Visa Bulletin advances to later than 8/19/2024 in the next 13 1/2 months, he will age out and become an F2B case.

Q1: Do I understand the dates and deadlines correctly?

Q2: Is there anything we can do to prevent him from aging out?

Q3: Should we consider an immigration attorney?

I petitioned for both parents.

Under my dad's case, we keep getting this message "Case FE revew note: The birth certificate for Petitioner submitted on 28AUG2025 is incomplete. Please replace this with an acceptable birth certificate with all pages submitted. Please re-submit the correct document under the Petitioner's own name. Please use our document finder at https://nvc.state.gov/find for acceptable document guidelines." while every birth certificate we have uploaded (3 times since initial submission) was accepted after NVC review.

I uploaded the same (petitioner) brith certificate for my mother's case with no issue at all.

I submitted Ask NVC Form, only received confirmation email and "The documents you submitted will be reviewed soon" email, no actual response from NVC.

Has anyone experienced the issue? How did you get it resolved?

I am a CR1 with an expired green card but have the 48 month extension letter.

I also have Nexus/global entry as I am a Canadian citizen. When I got my car and my green card expiration date was still valid. My question is can I still use my global entry/nexus with the extension letter?

So my mum is applying for naturalization for all three of us (mum, me (19), brother (24)). We have been here for 10 years as a permanent resident since my mum has married her husband (US Citizen). My mum wants to know if we have to file separately since both my brother and I are over 18 or is there an option to apply altogether?

Hi, I am a US citizen father, and my two kids are born abroad. we have gone through the I-130 process and as soon we came to USA I applied kids US passports. and both kids received their US passports.

Now I am trying to fill the N-600 form for kids and its asking a question

Have you ever been a lawful permanent resident (LPR)?

What do I have to answer to this question? coz they never received a green card and we didn't pay green card fees. But their foreign passport has I-551 stamp. Is this means they are LPR ?
