Port of Entry : CDN-USA Border
POE Date : 2025-12-16 Submit Review
Got EAD Stamp : No
Biometrics Taken : Yes
Harassment Level : 0
Comments : YUL - Montreal International Airport with US Pre-Clearance.

Asked the first agent that I had a K-1 fiance visa.

Secondary agent:
- When is the wedding?
- Are you aware that you have 90 days to get married?
- Are you aware that you need to apply for an adjustment of status?
- Are you aware that you cannot leave the United States until you get your green card or advanced parole document?

Super chill, and was in a good mood.

Cross customs at 5:30 AM EST, and only 3 people ahead of me.

July 9, 2024: Name Change done by USCIS I am from Quebec and submitted numerous documents to avoid this very issue, because I had the same issue when transferring my driver's license from Quebec to British Columbia. - Canadian Passport: First Last (what I applied as) - NEXUS card (issued by the US government): First Last (what I applied as) - Quebec Birth Certificate (with a certified English translation): First Middle1 Middle2 Middle3 Last - Quebec Catholic Baptism Certificate (with a certified English translation): First Middle3 Middle2 Middle1 Last I declared in other names the name that was on my British Columbia driver's license, because this is the driver's license that was on my NEXUS application: First Middle1 Middle2 Last. I have since then moved back to Quebec, and my driver's license registered with NEXUS is First Last. I do not know what my name is on my application at the moment. Current as of July 11, 2025, 10 AM Eastern time.

October 7, 2025: I received my State Department case number, and my case left the NVC on the same day. I sent back the completed Packet 3 a few hours after and received an automated email in a matter of seconds.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
